US Navy proposing major show of force to warn China

MAD is for pussies. We just drop the nukes on enemy population centers and watch them burn!

Make a bunch of HQ-19s/HQ-9Cs, over 100 before doing that. I would make 500 before starting a nuclear war.

The world needs China to be safe and secure.

Why doesn't China or Russia stage a major show of force in the Gulf of Mexico on the same day, if they pull out, you pull out.
Because neither of them can at this time.

China should seek to have a naval base in Cuba in exchange for billions of euro in Cuban good being sold in China.
Cuba would probably be a US state before that could happen.

So the terrorists in Washington can have bases that surround Russia and China, start and provoke wars around the globe, but if a base is built in Cuba, more wars from the genocide club in Washington.

Terrorists and clowns is the Washington criminals.

Yes I think so. Japan beefed up island defences in the southern islands by deploying reconnaissance, anti-air missiles, and anti-ship missiles on them. ASM-3 has entered production. F-35As are entering service, and Soryu subs could easily target enemy ships in the area while under protective air and sea cover.

He also thinks China can nuke NYC without nuclear retaliation. He's way out there in lala land.
I think so too. Japan with increasing military might can lend a hand to Vietnam to ease the PLA military pressure on the north and eastern flank.

No need JP help, CN is falling into 2023 chaos as we predicted. Time to think how much land-islands we can grab from CN instead of thinking abt help.

I rather bet on Vietnam/Japan military might than an economic collapse of China.

Obviously, you are very selective in reading the post/link I give...

The test was carry out few years ago in 2013 when sea restriction is carried out and HK one of the most vivid China news watcher caught the news. After a few days a retired Chinese frigate toil back to port was camera by somebody and uploaded it.

The whole bridge collapsed on top by some massive impact. From Chinese internet discussion, it was definitely hit by something hit speed. Very likely a DF-21D warhead without explosive. Definitely the whole experiment was captured by US intel. As for why they never release the news, I guess it becos it will cause the kind of helpless panic/fear which US dont want. Since countermeasure against such weapon if fired in salvo with multi warjead and ECM is near impossible to counter. :enjoy:

No proof of DF-21D being used. I would expect greater damage otherwise.

Once again, retiring a ship is much different from attacking a CVBG out in the open whose coordinates will be constantly shifting, and signature(s) will be blanketed with EW measures to spoof guidance systems of incoming threats.

Have a good look at the inventory of an Arleigh Burke class destroyer: https://whitefleet.net/2017/07/31/the-arleigh-burke-class-destroyer-ddg-51-an-in-depth-guide/

You may have not heard of NULKA decoy system. This decoy system creates a replica signature of the entire warship and misdirect incoming missiles towards the sea (not kidding).

Chinese C-802 cruise missiles failed to penetrate the defenses of Arleigh Burke class destroyers in Yemeni waters in 2016.

Impressive stuff, right?

Nothing escape from the hugely versatile SM-6 either. I provided some information in this respect which is relevant for DF-21D and ASBM in general. You conveniently ignored it.

JP support CN in 1979 war, so if there is a military alliance, then its CN-JP one to invade ASEAN.

No use to give trust/bet to 1979 enemies. Btw: JP now only can sell car to make money, JP is dying due to aging problem.

I am curious. Why did China attack Vietnam? China helped Vietnam against US. What was the key reason? What changed?
China helped North Vietnam reunite with the South by driving out the French and the Americans. After Vietnam reunified, their leadership declared themselves the third most powerful military in the world and ethnic cleansed ethnic Chinese in their country. PLA launched an attack on Vietnam and killed 100,000 Vietnamese in just 28 days. The Vietnamese stopped boasting about their shupa powa after that. Intermittent fighting continued through 1984 when PLA annihilated a Vietnamese brigade in pitched battle and until 1988 when PLAN annihilated a Vietnamese marine expedition force in the South China Sea. Today, Vietnam has gotten wary of spanking so they elected pro-China Nguyen Phu Truong to keep Beijing satisfied.

LOL please try to distinguish Hollywood sci fi from reality. USA is not shy about opening fire when they think they can win. Against China all they can do is retreat with tail between legs. They know they will annihilated just like in Korea. Only delusion fanbois like you reference sci fi magazines to "prove" how mighty the retreating USN really is.

At least 21 people were killed and nearly 100 injured in Vietnam on Thursday during violent protests against China in one of the deadliest confrontations between the two neighbours since 1979.

Crowds set fire to industrial parks and factories, hunted down Chinese workers and attacked police during the riots, which have spread from the south to the central part of the country following the start of the protests on Tuesday.

The violence has been sparked by the dispute concerning China stationing an oil rig in an area of the South China Sea claimed by Vietnam. The two nations have been fighting out a maritime battle over sovereignty and that battle has now seemingly come ashore.

Early Thursday morning a 1,000-strong mob stormed a giant Taiwanese steel mill in Ha Tinh province, central Vietnam, where they set buildings ablaze and chased out Chinese employees, according to a Taiwanese diplomat, Huang Chih-peng. He said both the head of the provincial government, and his security chief, were at the mill at the time of the riots, but did not "order tough-enough action".

Five Vietnamese workers, and 16 others described as Chinese, were killed during the rioting, a doctor at a hospital in Ha Tinh told Reuters. An additional 90 people were injured in the attack.

"There were about 100 people sent to the hospital last night. Many were Chinese. More are being sent to the hospital this morning," the doctor said.

You fail to understand the bigger picture, so not my problem. I highlighted certain technological realities, in good faith. If you think that USN is lacking in defenses then you are sadly mistaken. I will say no more in this regard. Up to you to make up your mind now.

Why would US attack China unnecessarily?

Does not make sense in view of sheer volume of trade and investments involved.

China is not a rogue regime and/or in isolation; it has significant economic clout. People get excited only in discussions.

We build nukes for maximum damage!

LOL you killed a bunch of Koreans and Hoa and you think you are a shupa powa. Try to overthrow the pro-China leader Nguyen Phu Truong first before talking.

!!
Because of their hatred for everything Vietnamese. China assisted half hearted in the wars against France and America but turned 180 degrees when Vietnam was approaching winning the wars. Chinese were angry because Vietnam winning is the last thing they want. Chinese are like Islamist suicide bombers. You never know when they run into your house detonating the bomb killing everyone inside.

Chinese have every excuses when attacking Vietnam. We mistreated ethnic Chinese. We slapped the face of their Khmer blood brothers. We disrespected the Muslim. We dare to declare as military power. We eat with chopsticks. Etc...

We have with China more wars, more clashes, more confrontations than the sum of all wars in Asia combined.

So now u convince DPF memember that VN leader is pro CN ?? Oh Mr.Trong still one of VN leader in 2014 and he still let Vnese beaten and kill Cnese in the conflict.

Let explain why no border attack in 2014 while thousand Cnese were beaten and killed ( in 1979 VN only sent Cnese ethnic back to CN and Deng used that as one of reasons to attack VN). Cos US refuse to share Intel from spy bird like in 1979 so PLA dont know where should they attack first?

Nguyen Phu Trong crushes anti-China Viets like bugs! Soon Beijing will instruct him to deliver the anti-China Viets directly to China for interrogation! Try to overthrow him first before you talk about Vietnam confronting China. It won't be easy to overthrow him though because China supports him with our entire state apparatus :)
