It's pretty clear to anyone with a brain what the US is doing.

China doesnt go around invading countries telling them how to live. We don't drop depleted uranium in fallujah, we don't drop nukes on civilians, we don't use NGOs to topple governments and install puppets, we don't use no fly zones to go to war and kill 30,000 Libyans, we don't lie about WMDs to go to wars, we don't claim to be the self proclaimed policeman of the world, etc

well...i think USA made it clear that they don't want to harm your economy (or "Rising"..as they have so much to loose)...but they want to check (blunt) your military might..and they just want to throw their weight behind smaller countries in the SCS region to check your "bullying attitude"..thats what "Pivot the Pacific" means..
