If co developed then you get it. BTW the Russians are not giving you full TOT on your PAKFA project.

But they gave us the full ToT of Su-30MKI plus its AL engine.

Developing as in building that engine or having access to technology to develop? If they gave you access to the technology to develop that engine, you can now make your Kaveri better or make your own engines.

We are not interested in copying others tech.Kaveri is our own design and so it is difficult for us since we dont have necessary facilities.
If we want to copy we can do it.But we dont do that.

The ability to play hardball depends on your options. The Israelis will take both an arm & a leg & you will still have nothing comparing to a Javelin. We see what we can get by negotiations and then look at our options.

Javelin missile consists of an active infrared seeker which point towards it's target. It's algorithm means it's code which they don't want to share. Without that we will have to approach Americans for every change we want to make.

Seeker is the most important part of missile.Ofc US is not going to Transfer that piece of tech unless a suitable carrot is dangled.
Just like Russia did not transfer the tech for core of MKI engine.
