US Considers Sanctions On India After It Abstained To Vote On Russia - NDTV

US will bide their time and not sanction India , but won't forget it.
We know. International relations are all about interests. Especially to the US. For now, our interests align and hence we are cooperating and working towards building a commercial relationship the best possible way we can. Let's see where this goes.

If this isn't imperialism, I don't know what is.
A nation wanting to punish other nations willy-nilly for following its own interest than "theirs" isn't right.
That much power needs to be contained.

Multipolarity.

Balance of Power.

Western domination must end for the good of all other nations.

This Ukraine war has exposed SO much.

Including uncheck by western media on all kind of corruption and ethnic abuse that derail India economy progress..

You do realize westeen media stinging attack is actually good in some way as it help to check China corruption and abuse of power which ensure a fairer growth that help few percent of China economy growth every year. :enjoy:
I had never resented Western media bashing, when people say China has no free press to scrutinise us, that's wrong. We have the entire western media scrutinising us, it made us better. You see the West don't give fck if Indians are starving. But in China the government works hard to avoid it.

Just a diversionary article by the "world class quality" media while remaining blind to the probability that this whole Russo-Ukranian fiasco is orchestrated by the U.S and Chinese governments working in collusion to generate business for the US through arm sales to Europe, and for China to completely bring Russia under its sphere of influence by appearing to save the Russians through investing money (more like buying out) key industries in Russia and probably even the resource rich Siberia.

US wins, China wins, and the ones who invest in the stock market in BAE, LM, Boeing, general dynamics are the ones laughing all the way to the bank.
That conspiracy angle is difficult to swallow but the result does seem very plausible

I will wait and see but I believe India has been warned behind closed doors that CAATSA sanctions are a real possibility.

Ultimately it's a question of who is going to benefit the most, and who pays the price?

I also believe my post to be in the realm of probability, but I'm too "well seasoned" (not gonna call myself old for a long time no sir) to believe that anything is possible wrt to the grand scheme of things vis a vis human nature.

Someone heard Modi crooning today

Mamla sangeen ha Mamla sangeen ha
Aik taraf roos ha , aik taraf cheen ha
Mamla sangeen ga Mamla sangeen ha

He came to the right conclusion using the wrong reasons.
