You are completely right. It's never going to happen in KSA's/GCC's current form and maybe that is for the better because that would arguably mean that we would not turn into failed/troublesome states that need such an assistance. Either that or have suffered from an illegal US invasion. Unfortunately too many countries have experienced that.

Of course one can always hope that such an powerful and long-time ally would be fair and return the favor to the oldest ally and partner in the region when Israel and other countries are the receiving end. All I was saying.

Well, KSA-China relations (they are our biggest trading partner) are quite cordial and close. Goes for Arab-Sino cooperation as a whole which is very old. Several millennia old if we include the pre-Islamic civilizations of the Arab world in fact. China has been quite an helpful partner for KSA and even if the government wanted to look past them it would be difficult.

Anyway a bit of light trolling/joking aside I of course prefer and hope that KSA can continue to have good/cordial relations with as many countries, especially the most powerful ones, as possible so mutual trade can take place for the benefit of KSA and the people and our partners.

BTW I think that KSA and Afghanistan should increase the cooperation. Goes for the entire Arab world and Afghanistan. We have more to offer than Abdullah Azzam (Palestinian) and OBL (Saudi Arabian citizen of Yemeni and Syrian origin).

The US should donate weapons for free to KSA as well as they do in the case of Israel, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq etc. If those leeching countries can receive weapons for free the oldest US ally in the ME/Muslim world should receive weapons for free too. We should engage in some kind of extortion to achieve such policies. Why are such unreliable allies, expect Israel, receiving weapons for free and not KSA? That is a good question that the House of Saud should be asking themselves. Is it really worth it?

Maybe another 9/11 is needed. The Kenyan has been a complete disaster. We should align ourselves with China 100%. A Chinese-KSA/Arab (the two largest ethnicities in the world) alliance would be unbeatable. Chinese are reliable partners.

You forgot the billions that the American taxpayer spent on building the new Iraqi army and training it. Some put that number at 25 billion dollars during the occupation. After the Americans left in December 2011 and until today there have been support as well although nowhere near as much as between 2003-2011.

All I am saying is that the US should be giving free equipment and money to KSA and the GCC as well since we are, at least in the case of KSA, the oldest ally in the ME/Muslim world and a very trusted one at that. Of course they will never do that as we are not poor or unstable countries. Anyway I wish for the House of Saud to become less dependent on the US and become closer to China and Russia although I disagree with the Russian role in Syria.
