They didn't use Pakistani territory for planning 9/11. Most probably they used Pakistan territory to hide here. Obviously geographical facts come here. Also Khalid sheikh arrest was also result of joint collaboration of ISI and CIA. Don't forget that.

Ameer, while I respect your sentiment, the point I'm making is that the pakistani state has for too long used emotional issues and arguments to shy away from doing the right thing. Everyone knows dead soldiers do not come back, how is that for an argument to be used by a head of state? By that logic no talks should take place between india pakistan as pakistan even today is not shutting down JUD in practice.

I have to agree with the fact that, the GOP frequently uses emotional as a tool in any controversy. Additionally, his statement, is pretty pointless, and unnecessarily deepens the rift that is occurring between USA and Pakistan relationship. However, this statement do have some objectives. Other than public consumption, it will affirm the government stance on the seriousness of the issue, and as well as instill some thoughts in the White House, to improve its current relationship with Pakistan.

If you do not want to stop use of your land against neighbors, then neighbors will give it back to you. As dead soldiers do not come back to life, so do dead civilians.

I appreciate your stance on the use of land as terrorism. However, it has no link to this current topic. In addition, to prevent the thread from being derailed, I would not comment further on this topic. Let's try to keep the conversation in this thread clean.
