On the Chinese forums we are all joking that USA is turning into India with all these "we will do this" "we will do that" blah blah blah

In China, the country belongs to the CCP, the citizens are just servants who live at the bidding of their govt, so they have no reason to tell the citizens anything.

In the US and India, the govts are servants to the people and so the govt has to explain its position to the voters.

this is R&D money, China or any county can't do this. Americans have 5 gen fighter almost 30 years. It is old for them and China is better?

I must say China has far more resource than the US do, and China's 6th gen figther is already underway (through China seems go a completely different routine, like near-space hyper sonic type fighter), it is not very sure who get the 6gen out first, but my money is on China.

It's yet to be finalised. But everything will be enhanced including engine technology and stuff like cyber attacks and laser weapons will be added.
Dogfighting will be completely removed from the picture. It'll be a big aircraft filled to the brim with everything and yet untraceable.
A step towards the end of specialised aircrafts.

F-22 tested in Syria against s300/400 SAMs to gather the information about their radars and f22/F35 is definitely world most advanced jets in the electronic/avionics wise don't underestimate your enemy bro they have lot of experience to design/build latest jets

The program shows that China is pushing them hard and it is the game in which US is facing biggest trouble in her whole time. This is first time US facing real threat and China is really catching fast. By the way China also have 6th gen program i read it somewhere and don't remember where.

Not sure dogfighting will be "completely removed" from the picture. I personally think there will always be warfare where visual contact is inevitable.

The other item I would add to your list that we pretty much know for certain is that the 6th gen platform will most certainly be 'tailless,' as in something along the lines of those pics.

You also HAVE TO hand it to the Chinese for what they've been able to develop to this point. The J-20 is something that took us all by immense surprise and has definitely put the pressure on the Russians, much more so than the US.
