You are new to the forum and not aware of his humorous nature. Btw your DP, is that the gentleman before or after ghar wapsi trying to prove his patriotism?
As per forum rules insult to any country nationality is banned and as for as dp is concerned it is for patriotic people like Abdul Hamid ? Remember him the Paton tank killer

Well I don't want to start sounding like IKs lawyer but the only thing he was insulting was a lump of uranium.

And buddy, convincing me will yield you no benefits. Tell the stories of Abdul Hamid's patriotism to your compatriotes who are doubting it lately, maybe they will start showing softer corner after that. Anyways, we are digressing. Maybe you can open a separate thread and tag your hindutva brigade and try to convince them there.

Well in couple of years were going to have our first 2 large nuclear power reactors, instead of the small research one we have now. We will also need to build at least 4 more in the future in addition to gas/coal power stations. Our gas will run out in a couple of decades, so we need to have our options open.

Bangladesh has high deposits of thorium, but that technology hasn't matured that fast and until theres many suppliers of thorium reactors were going to need nuclear tradional uranium power fast considering how quick the power demand and economy is expanding.

Massive Uranium mining is out of the question for Bangladesh considering the impact on environment and loss of land for other purposes. An opportunity cost will show this conclusively I bet...given the nature of established suppliers and large mines already in operation worldwide.

.
The uranium in Bangladesh is not mineable. BAEC should stop making khyali pulao.
