I just came back after playing 18 holes round of Golf at a local golf club, and today i played with two Chinese Engineers, who themselves described me that their job is work with Pakistan Navy building F-22p. He said most of the work is complete and now Chinese are getting ready to implement the warfare suite.


Nothing classified there, the Chinese guy himself told me.

I asked him if these were capable 21st Century ships, and he replied with affirmative. He was like 3 are built and 1 under-construction.

Rest of our talk was about his life in Karachi, which he seemed to enjoy pretty well, as being from Beijing, he was like the weather is beautiful here.

I know, funny thing is that they were playing at 2pm when i joined their group with another friend of mine.

exactly i wonder why this is "secret" it has been known for years that Pakistan will build this ship, we all already knows whats on board and what it will look like judging by the 3 other identical ship already around so why the secrecy in china warship get their pics taken all the time well the surface ones anyways?

Indeed this information has floated around---but it was only floating around and had no feet to it---but now the approval stamp has been placed on it---through first hand knowledge---and eyewitness account.

When would kids learn to not to leak out sensitive information---plus the poster wants to look important by mentioning his " CHACHA "---.

Please posters---if you know something sensitive and cannot hold back---your urges and desires are stronger ---at least keep away from placing personal references in your comments to look authentic. and important. Just write the post without personal references.

Im great.. and yeah.. it was a little poke.. but my point was the idea of information control.. you cant expect everything in the news...granted.. and yes some things are better left unsaid..
However.. where does one draw the line between the intended secret..and the obvious unknown..
We lost out a major contract to the Chinese in Bangladesh.. wasnt published.. but it isnt hidden either..so if someone breaks it.. is it really a big issue?
after all.. I am quite certain that the Indian intelligence service had much better means to take a peek into the naval shipyards..

Yet.. I am a proponent of being cautious in disclosure..
after all.. our military men do sometimes make a slip of the tongue in front of eager relatives and that has cost us more than once.

There is nothing more exciting for an intel agy when their information is confirmed by a family member's first hand knowledge.

Intel agy's always fear that their moles inside, have been neutralized and turned against them and providing them with wrong information---.

And sometimes the naval shipyard may want to create confusion by using the services of a family member to confuse the opponent.
