As is where this thread stands, the information shared by the OP and some teen age girls that are jumping on this news stand nowhere. Low level, sub standard comments going on. If a reputable member with known links to military brought this sort of news it would have caught some attention. But as is, this thread can't be taken seriously.

Very insightful indeed for Pakistan Military! Now we know what sort of planning they have done related to Brahmos. I think their ACE card has been exposed to Pakistan. Pakistan exactly knows the time it takes for this missile to reach our important assets. The air defence challenges related to a missile which can change course mid-flight. What's the capability of our radars and AD in this regard. How can we improve our response & strengthen our defence.

To be honest this is a blunder and would only help Pakistan strengthen itself. I think in the coming days our military would be repositioning and possibly obtaining more AD batteries considering they have to now deal with much less response time. Also, Pakistan might be very aggressively attacking Indian air bases, as launching Brahmos from the air is the most effective method to reach deep inside Pakistan. If runways are destroyed, less chances to air launching Brahmos.

2 key points to consider

1. Indian Officials didn't inform Pakistan for incidental launch.
2. Indian government was also not informed by military about incidental launch.

Apparently, Indian government got the knowledge when ISPR openly said and appears to be a rogue launch as Pakistan raised questions.

Missile units across the indian armed forces have been stood down until further notice, this has been picked up from our side, does seem to prove that something has spooked them.

Some units have moved, but our assessment is it is for internal matters.
