Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Organised Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Industry Synergy Summit 2019.

Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has been Contributing towards Research, Design and Development of Many Defense Technologies in the Areas of Missiles, Fighter Aircrafts, Naval Systems, Electronic Warfare, Radars, Sonars and Armament Systems Since the Inception.

In a Video Message, Union Government of India, Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh Welcomed the Synergy being Created for Boosting the Indigenous Development of Defence Systems and Technologies.

Union Government of India, Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh said Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is taking Crucial Steps for Attaining Self-Sufficiency in the Area of Defence Systems Development.

Union Government of India, Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh said Under the Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD), Defence Production Policy has set the Target for Aerospace, Defence Services and Goods/Cargo by 2025. In this, Approximately the Target for Creating Job Opportunities for 20-30 Lakh Indian Citizens.

Highlighting the Various Initiatives of Union of India's Establishment to Encourage Innovation and Self-Sufficiency in the Union of India's Establishment Defence Sector.

Union Government of India, Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh Stressed on the Need for Excellence in the Field of Defence Innovation and their Adoption.

Need to Work in tandem to Achieve the Target of Incorporating at least 25 Artificial Intelligence based Products into Defence in near Future.

Union Government of India, Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh appreciated that Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has nurtured more than 1,800 Defense Industries which are Actively Working together to Produce Defence Systems.

Union Government of India, Minister of Defence, Shri Rajnath Singh asked the Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD)- Defense Industry to Explore New Ways for Enhancing Synergy to Achieve the Goal of Self-Sufficiency.

In his Address, Union of India's Establishment, Research & Development, Secretary and Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman Dr Shri G Satheesh Reddy elaborated about among others the Latest Policies of Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) like Zero Transfer of Technology and Zero Royalty for Development-Cum-Production Partners (DcPP) and Free Usage of Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Patents only by Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Domestic Industry which is Even Owned by Union of India's Establishment.

Expressing Confidence in Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defense Industry, Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman Dr Shri G Satheesh Reddy said Healthy Scenario is to be Fostered for Closer Interactions between Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD)- Defense Industry and Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) to Overcome the Gaps.

Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman Dr Shri G Satheesh Reddy Highlighted that of Late Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defense Industry base Has Greatly Widened from Mere Manufacturing to Development and Designing of Components and Sub-Systems.

Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman Dr Shri G Satheesh Reddy said the Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defense Industry has Matured from ‘Build from Print’ to ‘Build from Specifications’.

A Panel Discussion chaired by Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) Chairman Dr Shri G Satheesh Reddy was also Held.

Many Concerns were Raised and Suggestions were Given by the Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defense Industry Participants. This was Communicated that Constructive Suggestions will be Duly taken into Account in the Upcoming Policies for Improvement of the Functioning of the System.

Some Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defense Industry Representatives Shared their Experiences of Working in the Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defence Sector and Spoke about the Challenges faced by Startups and Union of India's Establishment Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Manufacturing and Exports.

Senior officials of Union of India's Establishment, Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and around 300 Union of India's Establishment, Ministry of Defence (MoD) - Defense Industry Representatives were also present on the Occasion.
