Understanding Western Media's Take on China's Victory Parade

The comments are hilarious. One said that he doesn't buy MSM newspaper anymore, they are to hard to wipe his behind.

Europe get fooled by the USA, the USA give every countries troubles, I just cannot understand until today, why the EU still follows the USA.
The USA is always working to trim Europe’s interests, for example, when EU created the Euro as the currency for the countries, the CIA started the kasuowo war, and then the USA helped the Ukraine color revolution, and made EU to have problem with Russia, for Europe , Russia is the energy supplier and a good market, now you Germens happy with this situation?. And not mention the countries around the rim of Mediterranean sea, these Islam countries very near to Europe, their trouble will easily become your troubles.
But the USA always keep their own backyards calm, many government of south American countries hate the USA, but now you can see the USA already make reconciliation with the long time enemy Cuba.
The British, sitting on the island, is the proxy of USA, always mislead you EU countries. Now comes the immigration problem for the western European countries, the USA only give you some thing very bitter to swallow, but I cannot understand why you Europeans still follow the big Uncle Sam.

European countries don't have independent foreign policies. They can't say 'NO' to the US on important issues on a consistent basis.

Another piece of "bad-mouthing" attack after the one from the BBC News Beijing correspondent and now .... this prick...... when Anglo-whites control the microphone, they can amplify their China-bashing and Chinese demonization with blatant or subtle malice and maliciousness, at will.

Somehow, New Yorker correspondent Evan Osnos, from the new younger generation of east coast establishment preppies, who has become the new "wordsmith" "darling celebrity talking head" of the Anglo-American "China-watching" rat pack. Now that he is back in Washington D.C. after a stint in Beijing gawking at the Chinese from a hutong in Beijing... like a preppie kid in the San Diego Zoo. He just can't resist raining on China's parade....

And like most China-bashing journos of the Beijing media ratpack....performed a "roundhouse sidekick " on China.
Preppie arrogance and superciliousness in display during this ugly period of America's pendulum swings in their manic-obsessive paranoia on China.

What used to be love and affection has morphed into spite and hate ... typical gwello "China syndrome" turned sour!

Watch out... XJP..... when you embark on your trip to the U.S. very soon...... these roving packs will attack you like a pack of rabid wolves when you arrive in Washington D.C.

Why Is China Parading Missiles on TV? - The New Yorker

I remember reading Western articles before 2008 about the rise of China in favourable terms.

Then the 2008 financial crash happened and China continued to rapidly close the economic and technological gap with the US.

After 2008 crash, China became the driver of the global economy and the Western propaganda mouthpieces couldn't stand that a non-Western country was driving the world economy. That's when the anti-China propaganda went into high gear.

No longer was China just a power with a lot of potential that might challenge the Western monopolies in the distant future, but China was challenging the West right now.

The worst thing is the West can't control China like they do other countries like Japan, South Korea, etc.
China is not here to be an assistant to the US, China is here to be the leader.

China became the largest in many areas like manufacturing, export, trade, energy market, automobile market, e-commerce market, etc.
Chinese brands started to emerge.
China started to display high-tech achievements like J-20, J-31, DF-21D, Beidou navigation, manned space program, fastest supercomputer, etc.
China had an awesome 2008 Olympics and Shanghai expo.

China is no longer a problem for the West to deal with in the distant future, it's a problem right here and now.

The worst part for the West is that China is nowhere near its full capabilities yet even as a developing country, China is already too much to handle for the West.

I fully expect the anti-China hatred to go into overdrive in the near future. There will be hatred not just at China but even Chinese people living in the West. I wouldn't put it past the West to have the same kind of hatred that the Nazis had towards the Jews. The more the West realises China is rapidly catching up and challenging the West, the more anger there will be towards China.
