UN Secretary-General: 'India's vaccine production capacity is best asset world has today'

How come Pakistan isn’t able to produce vaccines? @Bilal Khan (Quwa) @waz

Pakistan really missed the bus on space programs and vaccines and is now missing the bus on electric vehicles, which are great equalizers and best way to project soft power.
Our country got used to importing goods using aid and remittances, so it never bothered to invest in local production and export capabilities. That is the mindset of the shortsighted leaders who (when everything goes to the gutter) can live off their real-estate investments in the UK or Gulf.

Truly, a sad situation.

The PTI despite the reform mantra, doesn’t seem to be any better.

Lol, may be you should advise GOP for not importing rabies, polio vaccine too.

This is going to cause some immense mental trauma here

In 2018, Pakistan's pharma imports from India were estimated at more than $62m (£45m).

Some 60-70% of active ingredients contained in medicines sold in Pakistan are imported from India.

More importantly, almost 90% of vaccines administered in Pakistan come from India,
according to Mr Ghani. Indian vaccines, he adds, are "world-class, affordable and shipping is easy".

Will Pakistan get Covid vaccines from India?

'India's vaccine production capacity is best asset world has today': UN chief

To beat the pandemic, we need everybody's chipping in and everybody's success.

I guess the success of some developing countries in disaster management has put (should have put) some arrogant developed countries and their media to pondering.

India is producing the Oxford vaccine, nobody died after taking outside of India but for some reason, some Indians died after taking it in India.
