The thing is,gypsies are mostly into professional begging,stealing,scams,scavenging,drug trade(mostly weed) and gang fights.

They are notorious in the Balkans for that. Now we're not talking about all of them,but most of them.

Now supposedly,the gypsies in Ukraine,where scamming or looting,that's why you see Ukrainian militias abusing them in various videos. I don't know what's the story with the video,but Ukrainians usually blame them for looting while the country is at war.

100% but many are seeing through the BS about the great 'heroes'.
Regarding the Roma the UK has had some success with them in certain areas but for the most it's not happening. They refuse to give up their way of doing things. With the shutting down of the EU freedom of movement after we left, their numbers have reduced drastically. I tend to give everyone a chance but a community has to help itself.

It's sad to see that another community who came at the same time, hence had the same opportunities the Poles have made a great go of it and are generally respected.

The situation of Romas is a classic catch 22. They say they do what they do because nobody gives them jobs or trusts them. How will this cycle be broken? I don't know.

Their counterparts in India - the Banjaras are also engaged in the same professions since centuries - handicrafts, metalsmithy, pottery etc. These works have been mechanised long back, aren't lucrative so you can imagine how little they earn. One often finds them at traffic signals begging or selling stuff no one wants to buy. Women from many poor communities work as maids, men work as security guards or drivers, but somehow I have never met a maid or driver from their community. Even if I want to employ one, they aren't to be found. I really don't know if they don't want to integrate or it is something else.
