Ukraine to receive Pakistan-made Anza Mark-II MANPADS

. . . . .
Fake news. No t-80ud or Anza 2 are being sent to Ukraine or some European country for transfer.

. . .
If we are getting good money for Anza and selling them won’t have an impact on our war fighting capabilities, Pakistan should do it.
This is Pakistan’s opportunity to sell its old weapons and high prices to Ukrainians and use that money to buy newer better weapons.
Pakistan should also try anyway it can to get its hands on weapons india uses via Ukraine and reverse engineer it. Pakistan should also sell ammunition without markings to Russia through secret channels if Russia is buying. With these sales Pakistan can modernize its arsenal and raise enough money to modernize POF and HIT to produce high quality weapons and ammunition.

@PakFactor in the meantime, Bangladesh is offering about 400 million of these to Ukraine free of charge. Quickly contact your nearest Ukrainian embassy and tell them not to miss the opportunity to help end this war. It'll guarantee Ukrainian victory. Now is the chance for you Muhajir neo-liberals to prove your advocacy:

While I understand the skepticism, as I had the same as well when the reports first came out, considering the news with context of the recent revelations of previously reported Pakistani ammunition being seen used in the frontlines it is safe to assume that ET in this instance has/had a reliable source through which they were making these claims.

Also note that this article was released back in February and only now Ukrainian outlets are picking them up, in this case a govt affiliate. Of course concrete confirmation of this deal can be done through seeing the real thing in the hands of Ukrainians, but until then I would consider the likelihood of this transaction taking place to be quite high due to the reasons I listed above.
Can we get serious about common sense now ?

What does Pakistan produce in weaponry or armament which isn’t available in western countries. Why is it MUST for Ukraine to acquire Chinese weaponry or cloned Chinese weapons when NATO is providing modern weaponry to Ukraine.

Countries like USA, France, Germany, UK etc have decades and decades of standing industrial complexes which can churn out anything from a bullet to a Tank or even fighter aircraft’s and helicopters.

Even the 122mm ammunition for howitzers, Ukraine is being supplied with different MLRS and 155mm artillery, how would short ranged 122mm artillery guns be helpful all of a sudden.

The war in Syria showed effectiveness of HJ-8, from that stance only it would make sense to get wire guided green arrow from Pakistan, but why go for 120mm BSM when bigger calibres and FnF ATGM are being supplied to Ukraine.

In SHORADs and SAMs of AD, what makes a IR tracking Missile better than a laser guided or radar guided Missile, especially when likes of upgraded IR Stingers and patriots are being provided.

When such a variety of weaponry from all the west is being provided, what edge is Ukraine getting with provision of weapons from Pakistan.

Because they're cheaper. Pakistani supplies to Ukraine are a contribution not a main course for victory.

Ukraine is being provided with military aid of weapons from western countries, those weapons are not being sold with any upfront payment, they might go towards lend-lease but mostly is the military package.

So why does cheap cost of weapons come in when modern and better weapons are being sent in as aid package.

Pakistan is preparing to provide Ukraine with Anza Mark-II man-portable air-defense systems of its own production.
This is said in a report published on mil.in.ua with reference to The Economic Times, Ukrinform reports.
According to the report, Pakistan's air defense equipment will be delivered through Poland.

The publication notes that Poland in February signed a memorandum of understanding with the Pakistani side on the supply of defense equipment to Kyiv.

Poland’s PHU Lechmar LLC will act as an intermediary buyer, while Canada-based Tradent Global Solutions will act as an intermediary consultant.

In addition, Pakistan is in the process of exporting Anza Mark-II MANPADS to Poland for transfer to Kyiv.

For reference: the Anza is a series of shoulder-fired, man-portable surface-to-air missiles produced by Pakistan. The Anza is used for short-range air defense. The Anza MK-1, Anza MK-2, and Anza MK-3 missile have a fire range of 4, 5, and 6 km, respectively.

@ThunderCat Here's your Anza :p:
US to Ukraine - hey get these stingers in aid package of billion of $$$.

Ukraine - Nah, I would rather buy Chinese tech from Pakistan and pay for it.

Because those weapons will cost a lot to replace than to buy cheap armaments from Pakistan. Think of it as buying more chess pawns on your chess board for a player on your side rather than you giving away finite queens an castles.
