Oplot-P is Oplot tank and "P" here represents Pakistan like Oplot-M for Malaysia. Oplot-P is specially modified tank version of Oplot tank for Pakistan like Type 85llP where "P" represents Pakistan.

We have UDs which share commonalities with Oplot.

We have our own AK program... with a new more powerful model coming.

Apart from an extensive upgeade for older tanks..

It means PA is interested in producing Oplot in good numbers to complement the current T-80UD fleet and also as support of Al-Khalid.

i think they would be parallel projects some oplot-p technology would be transferred to Pakistan and would be used in the AK-2 and there might be prospects of full TOT of the oplot-p given the current conditions of ukraine...

I wonder that Sindh have some serious issues. Why not someone from Sindh invest and develop a factory or Heavy industries on private basis to assemble Turkish or Ukraine/Serbian origin APC for Sindh Police and Sindh Rangers.
