Ukraine asks Turkey to stop and seize Russian ship with Ukrainian grain

. . .
. . .
I wonder what Romania (if at all) thinks of this situation. I tend to give that country a very wide berth.

.
I kn9w that you as greek suddenluy become stupid or act like one when you are faced with your own hipocrisy,
Stop financing russian agression then you will have some right to point fingers on others.
You have to stop insulting greeks all the time. It's not nice.

.
At Ukraine's request, the ship was stopped and necessary investigations were made. Survey and freight documents of the ship were examined. Apart from this, there is nothing we can do in terms of international maritime trade law. Turkiye cannot seize this ship as long as it is suitable for trade, and cannot give the goods in it to a third country.

Ukrainian authorities know TR can’t verify their claims besides can’t do nothing about grains shipped from Crimea, but really despite that they want to create pressure on Turkiye and drag into tension with Russia.

They really know what they are doing

how is it going on with shipping russian oil?
Preventing the transportation of Russian oil by EU ships draft was removed from the EU sanctions package with the insistent request of Greece. Currently, almost all Russian oil is carried by Greek shipowners. But their paid trolls are as busy as they always are, manipulating everything and trying to overshadow their own hypocrisy.

On the other hand: If the USA order, Greece can seize oil on the Iranian ship and deliver it to the USA. However, Turkiye cannot do the same. If it does, it will be called lawlessness.

We can inspect the Russian ship in our territorial waters within the framework of the possibilities recognized by maritime law. However, we cannot steal the property of a ship that shipped from the non-war port and documents are suitable for work.

A suspect is a person who is investigated by the public prosecutor's office and the law enforcement (police, gendarmerie, coast guard) under his command on suspicion of committing a crime. If the crime is proven as a result of the investigation: criminal case is filed against this person, he or she will be called a defendant from this stage on. Otherwise, You cannot convict suspects. Unfortunately, there is no proven crime. Even in the US media they shared, the situation is described as a suspect.

Unless there is a crime that can be proven, the authorized bodies of the Turkish state and the law enforcement officers affiliated to them cannot carry out unlawful acts.

These are principles of a largely universal justice system. The whole forum knows that my Greek friend Akritas who accuses Turkiye here is unaware of the law and could thinks that the country that can afford it can engage in all kinds of unlawfulness; but unfortunately, in countries other than Greece, these things do not progress as he imagined.

What's that sneaky accusation there again?

The question at hand here is: Who is Turkey with? Is Turkey with NATO or with Russia?

Don't tell me "Turkey is with Turkey". That's not what the NATO allies want to hear. On one hand Turkey gives weapons and invests in Ukraine,on the other it supports Russia as well.

At some point,NATO or Russia will force you to decide on whose side you are on. You've been playing for both teams. A bit of Syrian invasion,a bit of Northern Iraq,a bit of Libya, rising tensions in Greece and Cyprus, negotiating about Sweden and Finland, demanding this and that.

In the end,the allies might find their own solution to take the Straits themselves and screw your so-called "strategic position and valuable ally against Russia". And imaginary projects and Bayraktars will not help you against a furious West or thousands of Russian missiles.

.
NATO is using Turkiye to do its dirty work and Turkiye is obliging.
you repeat the same shitt in every subject about Turkiye its alright now we get it.

They're a NATO member and a Ukrainian ally having invested heavily in Ukrainian defence and aerospace industries. Russia is and has always been a regional rival/enemy. The recent warming of ties between Russia and Turkiye is only for show, in reality, they hate each other's guts.

If NATO didn't exist, Turkiye would still take similar actions.
Almost true Turkiye and Russian trade is huge the aim is to expand it to $100 Billion annually

Personal attacks with insults are a typical example of a person lacking arguments.

Stop financing russian agression then you will have some right to point fingers on others.

If ...we financed the Russian economy as you falsely say, then we would not have expulsions of Greek diplomats from Russia, aggressive statements by Lavrov, and much more.
Learn to back up what you say first, then blame others.

Do you know how much is the total global tonnage of tanker ships, how many of them are Greek and finally how many of those carrying Russian oil are Greek?

Simple questions that of course concern an issue, which some Bosnian allegedly asked, to forget the main topic of the thread, which is nothing else but the Turkish cover for Russian crimes.

I read that more then 50% of russian oil transports is done by greek fleet, so you should shut your mouth if have any decency and stop directing fingers to the other states while situation is like that, it is malicous and hatred motivated.
