UK Police Raid at PMLN Scott land President Amin Mirza House & Showroom

. . .
We despise both Altaf and Nawaz...both are stooges of zionists and corrupt to the core and only thoroughly corrupted and soul-less and mindless people support them.

. . . .
Mohammed Amin Mirza owns a number of Nisa stores, including this one on Western Road, Cambuslang.

CUSTOMS officers seized £900,000 in a series of raids on a wealthy businessman’s home and shops.

Stunned investigators discovered bundles of cash stuffed in carrier bags when they targeted grocer Mohammed Ameen Mirza.

They found £400,000 at his luxury home and a further £500,000 stashed in a safe at one of his stores.

The discoveries were made during a probe into an alleged £4million VAT fraud.

Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs and Police Scotland took part in raids at Mirza’s villa in Glasgow’s Pollokshields and three stores in the city.

They searched his Nisa outlets in Cambuslang , the Gorbals and Haghill.

And £500,000 was discovered at the shop in Cambuslang in bundles of notes.

A source said: “Officers just couldn’t believe the amount of cash they found.

“There seemed to be notes stuffed in any container available. Money was found in plastic carrier bags and paper bags.

“Cash was also discovered all over the house.

“The biggest surprise came when the shop safe was opened and £500,000 was found.

“It wasn’t expected. The investigation could take months.”

Paperwork is understood to have been removed from a Glasgow-based accountant.

Dad Mirza, 50, is described as an influential businessman in the Asian community.

Two years ago, he attended a ceremony in Lahore, Pakistan, to promote the contributions that expats make there.

Mohammad Sarwar , then Punjab governor and former Glasgow Labour MP, addressed the audience.

Last year, Mirza was pictured alongside ex-prime minister Gordon Brown and Sarwar at an event in Glasgow aimed at highlighting charity projects involving the two politicians. Sarwar stepped down as Punjab governor in January.

Witnesses say more than 40 officers were at Mirza’s home and shops during the raids on October 22.

He was charged with fraudulently evading VAT by failing to declare earnings and was released pending further inquiries.

The source added: “This is a complicated investigation focusing on more than one individual including others in the retail industry. It’ll take a while before things become clearer.”

Neighbours say a fleet of luxury cars, including an Aston Martin, Audi, BMW and Range Rover, are regularly parked outside Mirza’s gated family home.

He paid £735,000 for the detached property in one of Glasgow’s most prestigious postcodes in 2005.

Mirza's Nisa store in the Gorbals was among those .

One neighbour said: “They’re possibly the wealthiest family in the street. They’re loaded.

“The cars in the driveway all cost a fortune and his sons are always dressed in expensive clothes.

“They even go to the gym dressed in designer gear. I’ve not seen any of them since the raid.

“Most people know about it now. The house is like a fortress so people notice what’s going on.”

Mirza is listed at Companies House as a director of Ahy Property Ltd. The firm’s registered address is the same as the Cambuslang store targeted by HMRC.

He was also a director of Nisa Stores Limited for two years before the firm was dissolved in 2007.

Nisa are now one of Britain’s biggest private companies, supplying more than 2500 independent shopkeepers. The firm have a turnover of more than £1.4billion.

Police Scotland refused to comment on the operation, claiming it was led by HMRC.

A spokesman for HMRC said: “We wouldn’t confirm any investigations.”

Mirza was unavailable for comment.

A spokeswoman for Nisa said: “We’re aware of an investigation by HMRC.

“However, due to the nature of this investigation, we’re unable to comment further.”

Chalo jee, shabashay

Both are equally worse. This is the money of the poor masses.
I don't know if People could loot poor masses in UK  It's tax evasion which is now pretty much built into National DNA.

.
These f*kin desis go to Western countries and think they can get away with their desi tactics of avoiding paying taxes. We should report these people running businesses on cash basis and hiding or under-reporting their earnings to the government. We don't need these type of A**holes.
