I live in a Famous Port city where although not anymore but in the past Royal Navy used to be based and there are records of Royal Navy coming on to the streets and grabbing men at time forcibly to serve in the Navy during the days of Exploration, Slave Trading, Spice Trade, East India Company and e.t.c
They're fibbing about the food! After staying in the worst accommodation and camp HMAF has to offer I can attest to that. Some of the food in the rat packs are delicious, I'm a sucker for the potato and chicken soup, but stay well away from the sweet and sour chicken, nearly made me vomit and I'm not fussy at all!

Do you guys still get a bit of red wine in your rat packs?
No wine in ours,though es,the soldiers of the WW1 used to have some wine in their ration packs.
