UK Hotel Complains Air India Staff Taking Away Food Stuffed In Boxes

Sometimes people push envelopes and wonder why others are reacting the way they do. Their country their rules. Just respect their rules and move on.

Respect is a two way street. The thumb rule is "Customer is King".

Its about time they respected Indian crew's requirements and needs and show due respect and consideration. Not the other way around.

Like I said , the british raj is dead and now its time for them to respect OUR rules and needs.

LOL....so far none of the hotels and restaurant I have been to have refuced me entry. But I have come across mean chinese cooks who steal food from the kitchen to take it back home.

Maybe they lie that the customer ate more. :lol:

Lets take away all the stuff you could for 150 years that is so royal behaviour, but cry for when those people take food for lunch which they have paid presumably.

It doesn't matter if you paid or not the Hotel will be at a loss if you keep taking food out. This is a BUFFET not a takeaway.

There are plenty of Hotels who run at a loss even though no customer keeps taking food out.

That is what their "letter" was. A desperate plea. lol. Like a third class savages trying to make money on scraps.

How come only a few Indians here defend the action of package the food on your plate and take them home. In the US, that is unheard of for obvious reasons. I like to hear from other Indians besides @Yugamudra if it's common in Indian buffets to take home unfinished food on your plate.
