Uighurs accuse Turkey of betrayal, seek new friends

Fake news troll, your thread is closed now. When will you make a thread for your next fake news? :pop:

I just see and present the news BBC has on its frontpage headlines. Do you deny Turkish foreign ministry said what it said about the reports of the Uighur musician dieing?...and for China to close the "concentration" camps?

BTW lot of people still disagreeing its "fake news", remember this reaches millions more people than the time and effort you CPC clown lot waste here. I guess China needs to provide much more conclusive proof that this guy is alive (who knows they could have pre-recorded stuff to use):

======

Up to a million Uighurs are reportedly being detained.

Some Uighurs have questioned the video's authenticity.

Nury Turkel, chairman of the US-based Uyghur Human Rights Project, told the BBC that some aspects of the video were "suspicious".

=========

Foreign ministry spokesman Hami Aksoy said the reports of Mr Heyit's death "further strengthened the Turkish public's reaction to the serious human rights violations in Xinjiang".

"The reintroduction of concentration camps in the 21st Century and the systematic assimilation policy of Chinese authorities against the Uighur Turks is a great embarrassment for humanity," Mr Aksoy said.

He called on UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres "to take effective steps to end the human tragedy" there.

========

However Mr Turkel said the release of the video showed that the Chinese government did respond to public pressure.

"The Chinese government responds to Turkey because of the influence it has in the Muslim world," he said, adding that UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres had been "awfully quiet" on the issue of detentions in Xinjiang.

"The ball is in the Chinese government's court. They detained Heyit. They detained 10% of the Uighur population. They are trying to tell the world there is no abuse and these are just so-called vocational training centres. It's their responsibility to prove the video is authentic," he said.

Mr Turkel said the Chinese government was capable of doctoring video because of the "technological advantages it has".

"With today's technology it is possible to create a video presentation. It's not that difficult," he said.

@doorstar This is where its at right now (since you replied there to me but thread is locked now). Its not about the BBC "lieing"...they simply reporting what Turkish govt and amnesty international have said about the issue. Is a video in a room enough proof in the end to say someone is still alive? I guess let's see. Turkish govt will follow up on this most likely (Given they responded immediately when the first reports came out). I simply post when something makes the headlines on an issue I feel needs further discussion on this forum. Who gets annoyed by it the most, tells another story in itself.

They can jump high and low,we the world know what Alvin and friends do to the Uyghur people.
We'll make sure its not forgotten.

Ha-Ha...there you go.

Some of our friends on this forum, who are hard-bitten by this Ummah/Islalic Brotherhood notion....need to realise...there ain't no such shit existing anymore.

Everyone on this planet is looking after his interests..from animals to Humans...from communities to states. Period!!.

Religion is being used to control masses..nothing else. When it suits the ruling elites/governments..it is used per discretion, to highlight oppression of Muslims by non-believers and wage war (Jihad)...and otherwise they conveniently close their eye to let those Muslims die.
...And then they preach us teaching of Holy Quraan which they don't themselves follow. Bloody Hypocrisy!!
