Thats not going to happen, news is probably a hoax just imagine they produce oil in UAE and spend huge money to transport it to India and then give 67% of oil as a rent or free, rest 33% left no value because the same amount used to bring the crude oil to India because oil tankers burn expensive diesel + labor cost.
Now tell me they did't have any place in vast deserts to store their oil inside their own country ? why they first produce oil by spending huge amount and then give it to free by spending again huge amount.

Some members (Indian) says on another thread of same topic that UAE wants Indian friendship because India is going to be super power again laughable argument, why they waste their huge resources for wannabe super power when they actually have real super powers in their pockets. India is living under nuclear shadow any big terrorist incident in India or Pakistan can become nuclear flash point, in any exchange of nuclear weapon there will be total Indo-Pak destruction then why the hell other nation invest the resources on fragile country.
By doing so they may loose only Muslim Nuclear power who fought their wars while India is sided with their arch enemy Israel.

Its not free oil. They gain from this deal, they don't lose.

They gain massive underground storage depot for fuel bunkering.
That this is in India is because India purchases massive amounts of oil each year from them.

Its a strategic buffer - away from middle east - the companies need to keep it, so do countries. In this case, we decided to combine the two - ours and theirs. This way we both lower costs.

probably the new itself a hoax nothing more, there is no sense in this news that UAE want store their oil in India. And as a rent 67% oil India will get and rest 33% will cover only the cost of transportation and production...It is laughable argument...why not they simply announce free oil for India....
