Stop trolling here.
This is good news, best of luck to them.
There isnt a single engineering university in whole arab world which stands even in top 500 list.
Seems like an effort to get this done using rented engineers and scientists, just for the sake of fame and media hype.
There's a lot I can say about their lack of hunger and need as a means to drive them, and a sort of 'no harm done' attitude if otherwise big opportunities go to waste. But that's not to say no effort is being made by them.
I can tell you, here in the UK, in Engineering especially. Apart from British, and EU students, the next biggest demographic are Chinese students, and then Arab students, the latter, the Arab students seem to all be sponsored by Gulf based energy companies like Aramco, Ras Gas, plenty of them from Qatar, UAE, Saudi.
Some of them are wasting their time, resources, others are serious and hard working like the rest.
It is clear that whatever else may be happening, their people have come to the very sound realisation that this is a sound investment in their future. And this is wise.
Best of luck to them if that is their intention, I just hope there'd be someone to develop a wider culture of learning and back-breaking hard work values on a larger scale.
