What's new

UAE court has fined a Saudi woman $41,000 and is deporting her for checking her husband’s phone.

I'm sure you would be okay if your wife, now or in future, cheats on you and you cant do anything to investigate the issue.

In marriage faith in each other is #1 priority else everything starts falling apart, privacy b/w a married couple is next to non-existent. And esp. coming from a regressive culture where men are looking for excuses to marry as many women as they can, you cant blame a woman to keep an eye out for suspicious behavior. Woman are beings too, they do deserve equal treatment regardless of what you have been taught in your life.

I am a 100% sure, if the case was opposite here, i.e. man spying on her woman, it would be perfectly legal in this stupid justice system. Hell, I do remember in SA there was something like men having remote access to gps locators on their wife's phones. I dont know if its true, but coming from SA it must be.
turn the table around and i will support the woman then.every human being deserve private space and if there are law made to protect them everyone should follow them.she did a stupid mistake of copying the personal data which was illegal and land her in huge trouble.if she was suspicious of her husband she should have hired private investigator there was no excuse for her to brake the law.

There is no 'trust' anymore in marriage. Everybody is cheating openly, more so in the West. If you aren't married, simply don't get married, I'm sorry. This day and age is not tailored towards loyal behavior. Stay single and keep meeting new girls. If you want children, then get someone pregnant but you will share responsibility. Children can get expensive anyway. So might as well stay single until society undergoes big change, but it will not happen in your lifetime. So you will have take note of that.

And this is based on which study now? How are you really generalizing every marriage based on your past experiences? I am a living example contradicting your wisdom. Happily married with a loyal wife and have a beautiful daughter. I am sorry you have missed out on life's greatest joys. Loyalties are not defined by time, culture, or society (except SA men, most are trained since birth to be assholes) but individual. My advice to you for free.

I cant believe this is an actual input from someone.

Actually...hmm... I don't think that is always true here in the US.
I think what's mine is hers...so she can check my phone without any legal ramifications. She can take my car for a spin too.
what will happen if you declare bankruptcy is she liable for your debts or not.if she is not then most probably you are a separate entity.
about that car thing i think it is possible because it is considered shared property not because you two are one entity.
i am not sure about checking the phone but i am certain that she is not allowed to copy data from it

I think we both would have to declare bankruptcy. Otherwise if I owed $500,000 and couldn't pay it I could simply say it was my wife's fault.

I'm pretty sure she can copy data from my phone due to the shared property. Sort of like your company being able to copy stuff off a company phone you use.

there must be some ways but dammit bro she can invade you like Poland when ever she want :p:D

. . . . .
means it near impossible to keep her out.damn man your state took till death do us part very seriously.

Well a guy I used to work with got divorced because he snuck onto her email because he suspected she was having an affair with an old boyfriend. Confirmed when he read her email. I don't remember him getting into trouble for that.

After marriage there is no such thing as damn privacy between couples. Entire business of marriage is to be loyal to your one and only. A person will hide his phone from wife if he is upto no good.

If he was smart enough then he would have gotten a separate phone and used it when his wife is not around . So he cant blame his wife bcz he was thinking from his peniss not head .

Guys two wrongs don't make a right.

This behavior is a recipe for disaster. Trust is key in any relationship. I predict that this marriage won't last long. Too many marriages in KSA end up in divorce already.

Many women are more of a liability than a reasonable wife..I have experienced it myself that majority of marriages go sour due to women..90% women are not marriage worthy..

The same women who demand the sharing of everything will bluntly refuse a three some invoving their hot friend..men are left with no choice...sex is like a life line of men's health..without it they begin to suffer heart and cholesterol disease..the thick brain of women is incapable of absorbing this fact..many women want their husband to live in sexual limbo...they wont give it to them..and wont let men have it from someone else...it is a sexually abusive relationship..
