According to a Kuwaiti source Qatar has asked for extension of the deadline by 48 hours. It doesn't look like Qatar is very confident. Do you have any idea why Qatar might ask for extension of the deadline if she has no intention to comply with the Saudi and UAE demands.

We have expeditionary capabilities. We have a landing port in Iran. We have an airbase in Oman. We have a massive naval fleet in the region. What more do you want? We can even set up an air base in Iran if necessary.

GCC can threat Qatar , but as long as US base is there , non of them dare to come close to Qatari border. US will turn all of em into dust in single shot.
