U Turn party aka PTI withdraws Nasir Khosla name as care taker CM Punjab

After first proposing it PTI pulls out yet another UTurn depicting their immaturity.

Apparently PTI got shocked how easily pmln accepted Nasir Khosa name without any opposition.

Also senior journalists are suggesting that PTI is desperate to get general elections delayed for few weeks and this act is indicating in that direction.

LAHORE: A day before the government’s tenure is set to end, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has withdrawn the name of Nasir Mehmood Khan Khosa for the slot of Punjab’s caretaker chief minister.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, Leader of the Opposition in Punjab Assembly Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed said the decision was made during a meeting chaired by party chairman Imran Khan. “We made a mistake by suggesting the name in haste,” he said.

Rasheed added that a new name will be announced within 24 hours.

Nawaz, Shehbaz fail to forge consensus

On Monday, Punjab’s former chief secretary Nasir Mehmood Khan Khosa was named as the province’s caretaker chief minister after a meeting between Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Rasheed.

A retired bureaucrat, Kohsa is said to possess a vast administrative experience. He previously severed as chief secretary in Balochistan before working as executive director at the World Bank.

Khosa also served in various capacities in Punjab, including principal secretary to former governor Khalid Maqbool, additional secretary of the province’s finance department, commissioner of the Multan division and deputy commissioner, Lahore

I think PTI is steering defeat in coming elections... Elections delaying tactics... KP cm name not yet finalized, balochistan cm name not finalized, Punjab cm name withdrawn all a sudden..clearly PTI either not serious or doesn't want elections in time.... Was not expected from PTI but UTurn is indeed their trait

How is it a U-turn rather it an indication of supreme maturity and democratic attitude that they have accommodated the concerns of the opposition and reviewed their decision. Total respect for PTI and their devout support for true democracy.
Mindless patwaris cannot understand it because of the consumption haram meat through the generations.

I would say if there is a small doubt on caretaker oppose it no matter if its a minute before his taking oath. Out 1 bad choice shape the next 5, years and PTI knows it.

Mate just relax, it is just a name of a person...it is not some principle or ideology... If someone is not comfortable with the choice, it can be changed. You know like someone submits documents to EC for contesting elections and those get approved but later if someone finds that this guy made some fraudulent claims, his nomination can be challenged and EC will rescind its decision ..it won't be called a U-turn by EC. It is just availability of new facts. I hope you got it.
