well here is the defining moment for Pakistan and Time to start acting like a state. this is not 2001 just as a reminder.

They were against the building of Pakistan's fencing on afghan(otherwise how would terrorists infiltrate Pakistan) border BUT they want the closure of this border!!

US has possible cross border infiltration fears and also they are afraid of Pakistani pilgrims going to Iran and then come back angry and agonizing communities here. To be honest closing borders, for now, is good for Pakistan as well.

Iran's internal issues spilling into Pakistani society will create further instability in Pakistan. So better to keep a safe distance and let things cool off.

We need to stay neutral and close that border.

Don't want spillover effect when we have a potential war to face on Eastern side.

We were involved in war against Soviets in AFG while iran-iraq war was happening for nearly the whole decade and we were eyeballing Indians after brasstacks during same time.

We did not have even nukes then.

bro if US demand is there we should use our card perfectly, ask muricans to bear expenses of this fencing even though if we have completed the fence... we just don't know how to take advantage of such scenarios
