U.S. Lags China on Hypersonic Weapons by Years, Raytheon CEO Says

.
To secure years of funding from DoD.
The US test failed three times, all with rocket boosters. Even I think it's crazy. Solid rocket engines are not new technology, so why do they keep failing? If the US can't even build a qualified MRBM, the US is in more trouble than we thought.

That's how all progressive nations are. It's been like this throughout history.

Can't compare the US with India.

When exactly will that be? I mean they are the largest economy by far and are constantly growing.

How can you so sure China will not disintegrate in the next 50-years?

We have 329 million Americans against 1.4 billion Chinese.

China will need to have a four times larger Nominal GDP to that of the US to be considered equal to the US. Currently, the US has around 40% larger Nominal GDP than China. The rest of the fully developed world is nowhere near. So, what exactly is the US collapse theory based on?

This Russian professor predicted US disintegration by 2010.

Nominal GDP cannot be an accurate measurement to judge other countries economy. They are bloated value because of USD.

If you want to have accurate measurements, analysis their energy consumption, industrial output, and infrastructure developments

China has been horrible with its image building, PR and media influence. That may change after it accomplishes economic and tech dominance though.
That's I always want to say. Unlike South Korea, China is locked by US. Unless China surpasses US in hard power, China's soft power can not be recognized by the world.

I wouldn't hold my breath for it. Despite in theory CCP touts the power of people and despite the economic success unleashed by freeing the people, they disdain the individuals that make up the very group of the people and see them as potential threats than a source of power. They want the economic and tech dominance held in their own hands but not in the hands of people. Now they see the opportunity of taking that from the recent success of people and they are strategically doing just that. I don't know what will follow but the recent technological progress feels more like the lingering momentum before its downfall.

When I said that? Screenshot my post in here.

Don't act like crying baby in here, mister aziqbal :enjoy:
I am not aziqbal, an you're Chinese Fanboy claiming J20/J10 are better than F22/F16v in various threads

and as per article US hypersonic weapon program is not idle but quite slow as compare to China Russia

They simply tell you when they fail and you should strengthen yourself against the influence of media.

You are totally brainwashed by the west liberalism. We don't give a fk to the brainless, selfish individualism ideology.

You're missing my point. Solid rockets are 1970 technology. In theory, a country like the US should have no trouble making solid rockets. The US tests can fail, but not rockets. And it failed three times. This is not normal at all. Considering the SM6, the GBI are almost the missile of similar size. Failure is even harder to understand.

Nominal GDP
This is perhaps one of the biggest myths.

GDP is merely a statistical indicator used to measure amount of economic activities, not how "good" or "bad" they are. There are many historical examples in which smaller industrial economies defeating big agricultural economies several times of their size. At least agriculture is a contributor to national strength, after all we all gotta eat, but GDP of casinos, luxury handbags, law firms and such have zero to do with nations' war potential. While we see US displays huge services GDP, even to the extent of including imputations to make numbers look good, China's industrial GDP (and manufacturing value added, etc) is already way ahead, and the gap is only widening every year.

Nominal, we all know what it means. So in order to reflect real purchasing power statistician also introduce something like PPP, well despite how inaccurate it could be, as least they try to find a way to reflect true values, since everyone knows how "inaccurate" currency exchange rates can be. What is the true value of dollar? I don't know, since it has broken all laws of physics, if Greece issues its own currency I bet it will dive like there's no tomorrow. If this is the largest and happiest Ponzi Scheme ever in human history, perhaps it will never end so everyone live happily ever after, or perhaps not? RMB is backed by surpluses in all accounts, and set to overtake Japan to become world's largest creditor nation, what's the true value?

You are assuming that you know the reason for the failure in a classified project. That is not healthy.
