US has no funds for infra repairs, Gas tax that was suppose to be used for infra repairs and upgrades but in last 30 years there has been no increase in gas tax and neither political party is not willing to take the chance to increase it.

Poor countries deserve aid while US financial aid to rich country like Israel should be stopped. The tax cutting mantra of the Republican party is creating situation where states and municipalities have no money for infrastructure. The minimum age is so low that poor cannot support themselves without food stamps. Looks like the Middle ages where rich live in mansions and poor live in squalor.

I can bet a single US CV will take away at least 20 percent of their military budget.

Even russia struggle to maintain a single CV and it's still in yard, under going refit.

Then, a single nimitz Class needed 2500 crew only, if you do not attach an Marine Battalions, the ship its capable to and have a standard crewing capacity of 5500. That does not mean they need 5000 crew to operate a ship.
