Don't take the Indians too seriously.
You have to understand the Indian mindset. Pumped up by the Western media, they live in a self-delusional cocoon of "Incredible India supa-power". In reality, India can't do anything against the raging insurgencies within, let alone about Pakistan or China. So, these "Incredible Indians" take refuge in living vicariously through American might or Israeli banditry. Since India itself can't take on Pakistan, they gloat and cheer every time there is a problem between Pakistan and the US.
Your assessment of the drone incident is correct. The drone "crashed" and "disappeared". Pakistan has no knowledge of it.
Too bad, so sad!
I know exactly what you are talking about, buddy. Look at this clowns Avatar and that says it all about living vicariously through Americans (Captain Jack Sparrow, yeah , right ). They are so awed by American culture that they loose their own personality and mimic American lifestyle. This comes out of Indian Inferiority Complex and insecurity, which explains why they try to emulate Americans. How sad is that ?
I am sure you have heard the Urdu expression " Kawwa Chala Hunse ki Chaal, Upni Chaal bhi Bhool giya ".
