New Delhi: (Dunya News) India violated diplomatic ethics, two officials of the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi were ordered to leave the country, both Pakistanis were given a 24-hour deadline.

In a letter to the Pakistan High Commission's charge d'affaires, the Modi government alleged that the two officials were involved in activities contrary to diplomatic etiquette.

The letter said that both the officials would have to leave India within 24 hours. The letter did not mention any immoral or diplomatic activities of the two officials.

The Foreign Office has strongly condemned India's move to expel Pakistani diplomats from India, calling it "undesirable".

Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqi strongly condemned the move, saying it was part of anti-Pakistan propaganda in the Indian media.

He said that Pakistani officials in New Delhi were raised on false charges, tortured, pressured and threatened to accept the allegations. The officials were later released following the intervention of the Pakistan High Commission.

The statement said the Indian move was reprehensible, a violation of the Vienna Convention and diplomatic etiquette. The Pakistan High Commission did everything under international law and diplomatic etiquette.

Ayesha Farooqi said that the Indian move was an attempt to stop the diplomatic activities of the Pakistan High Commission. These steps cannot divert attention from internal and external issues, nor can they cover up violations in occupied Kashmir.

Complete and utter b.s.

If these allegations are true, why would India expel them and not arrest them and charge them with espionage?

Kulbushan was caught with his pants down and he was immediately held and charged at the discretion of the Pakistani state. He remains our special guest in case you were unaware.

Why would India miss out on a golden opportunity to parade our "spies" around and potentially even use these "ISI agents" to bargain for KJ?

India has basically bullied a couple of functionaries and is now desperately trying to pin something tenuous on them.

You know full well this is a b.s. Bollywood trash movie script.

"Two visa assistants Abid Hussain and Tahir Khan work as Visa Assistants and are ISI operatives."

So india is sending our ISI operatives back to us while we hold a hangman's noose over Kulbushan's neck?

Strange country.

because at the end of the day, they are still diplomats which have immunity. Whatever the crime is, diplomats are returned to thier country as per the Vienna convection law. Kulbushan was not a diplomat.

"Two visa assistants Abid Hussain and Tahir Khan work as Visa Assistants "

You may be right. However, they're not high level diplomats. They're visa assistants and therefore should not enjoy the diplomatic immunity that you speak of.

Diplomatic immunity.
Two problems with this: forging documents is an act of espionage, not some misdemeanour or even an unrelated felony. Secondly, they are visa assistants - since when do such workers get immunity from prosecution from document forgery?

I think something isn't adding up. Someone is lying somewhere in the story.
