Two Losers, One Made Hero, Other Treated Like Zero

Kargil was occupied by Pakistanis that time, while IAF carried carried out CAS missions against Pakistani army, PAF refused to participate to save Pakistani soldiers from Indian bombardment.

Go... read a book, and learn what engine flame out means.
All the operations were carried out on the Indian side of LOC, it's generally said that both IAF aircraft going into the Pakistani air space was a technical fault.....bottom line is since the PA attacked IA targets in IOK, why didn't the IA carried out strikes on the Pakistani side, the IAF also did its operations within own side of LOC.

Because our objective was to eliminate Pakistanis, who had occupied our territory. We had no intention of invading Pakistan or capturing its territory .

Who do you think iaf was bombing
They were trying to bomb old Indian army posts well-marked out by the army but failed miserably and had to seek Israeli help to place bombs in own territory without any air opposition.....Bravo....

Make up your mind .. don’t play on both sides..... again we went and banged your guys in your own territory.... we even shot down your planes sitting in your territory .... you guys simply cannot be humiliated. You had entire Airforce at your disposal and you couldn’t take care of 1000 Mujahidins.... you lost 500 guys ( at least ) , planes helicopter and needed Israelis and French to come and rescue your *** ....

Because unlike PAF, which refused to fly combat missions during kargil war, prefered to remain in safety Pakistani airspace, outside the ranges of Indian BVR missiles.

Good for you that they didn't. I mean look at what happened on the 27th of Feb....

Do you think Atal bihari vajpayee was from congress???
Vajpayee was your P.M in 1999, check the facts.
Then start your propaganda radio.
It must be under Congress rule. Thank God, we thrown them to dustbin. We should appreciate bravery and celebrate it like we are doing today.

It's easy to not lose any jets when you never flew any. Pakistanis should read what Kaiser tufail has to say about the PAF's (non)performance in Kargil. He accepts that the IAF maintained superiority and successfully bombarded Pakistani positions.

But at the end, we did take back all the peaks and even a few on the Pakistani side. So what did Pakistan gain, other than the record of not accepting 700 bodies of dead soldiers?

Both these pilots should be honored for their service regardless of them being captured by Pakistan.

In the case of WC Abhinandan, it seems very likely that the F16 claim is bogus. If yes, then this would embarrass the pilot the most. No one would like to be glorified for petty political reasons. GOI and IAF’s decision to do so without credible proof has damaged the credibility of Indian armed forces.

Later Indian government refused to take their alive pilot in front of the media and no one from Indian Embassy turned up to receive him and eventually he had to be handed over to Red Cross.

Pakistan Army learned the lesson from this history & this time, Pak Army paraded Abhinandan on media starting from his arrest till handing him over to India. Now Indians had NO choice but to make a hero out of Abhinandan for a face saving in front of Indian public.
