Two Indian troops commit suicide in IOK

Srinagar, May 23 (KMS): In occupied Kashmir, two Indian troops have committed suicide by shooting themselves with their own service rifles in Islamabad and Kupwara.

A trooper of Bihar Regiment of Indian Army, Anop Singh, took his life with his own service rifle at Ashmuqam in Islamabad last evening.

In yet another such incident, a trooper, Jagrop Singh shot himself to death at Indian Army’s 18 RR Camp at Lalpura-Lolab in Kupwara.

He was associated with 47 RR Natonsa Camp and was present at 18 RR Camp to perform his duty.

The latest incidents have raised the number of such deaths among Indian troops and police personnel in the occupied territory to 268 since January 2007.
