Western countries also launch some ceremonial 'heavy' air raids on Raqqa after each terror attack.

This is NOT the way to defeat ISIS. Interesting to say that for Iran and Turkey the biggest problem are the Kurds. You have an iraqi kurdistan that hosts various groups like PKK that stage attacks inside Turkey and Iran. So i doubt that its Turkish personal interests to destabilise Iran

From what i know Iran had some problems lately with Kurdish rebels. The positive for Iran is that Kurds are a small minority in Iran and they cannot cause serious problems. There's no easy answer, but Muslim countries need to start clamping down hard on hate preachers. Yes, even those that preach hate against westerners/Israel/Jews etc., because that hate comes back to bite you too.

There needs to be a separation of Islam from politics. Religion is a personal choice and personal affair. Islam has been far too politicised and now its ideological political faction is armed and ready to kill for a 'caliphate'.

Absolute majority of Sunnis are against these terror groups obviously, but yes, a dangerously big minority (even 1% of 1.2 billion people is just too much) either support or sympathize with them which is the whole root of problem. This needs raising a new generation, preventing hate preachers from infiltrating the countries and also capturing those working online and many more things to do.
