according to you Hurriat leaders seeking Kashmiri independence are also Islamist terrorists
I said it about Syed Ali gilani and his supporters, Syed Ali gilani is extremist ,, his ideology is same as Alqaida, he supported Osama bin Ladin and offered funeral prayers, he is using innocent mujahideen to shine his own shop, and his sons are studying abroad and enjoying lavish life style. While Syed fArooq is Genuine Kashmiri leader , not hypocrite like Syed Ali gilani. Syed Ali gilani did major damage to Kashmiri struggle and turned them into extremists. On other hand Syed Farooq spent all life for peaceful struggle , and he wasn't involve in extremism, also not hypocrite like others.

30 of the 38 victims were policemen; 10 suspects have been detained.
The death toll from the bombings outside a soccer stadium in Istanbul has risen to 38 people, including 30 police officers, Turkey's interior minister said on Sunday, adding that Kurdish militants were believed to be responsible.

“According to the latest information we have received, 38 of our nation's children have reached martyrdom after last night's cruel attack,” Suleyman Soylu told a news conference. He said seven victims were civilians and one remained unidentified.

The two bombs exploded less than a minute apart on Saturday night, in a coordinated attack on police shortly after a soccer match between two of Turkey's top teams.

Mr. Soylu said 166 people were wounded in the double bombings that struck Istanbul Saturday after a home football match hosted by top side Besiktas. He told reporters in Istanbul that 10 suspects had already been detained over the bombing.

Car bomb and then suicide attack

Mr. Soylu said the first blast was caused by a car bomb that struck outside Besiktas's football stadium.

It was followed 45 seconds later by another attack at nearby Macka Park, carried out by a suicide bomber who blew himself up in the midst of police officers.

Act of terror: Erdogan

"An act of terror targeted our security forces and citizens at Besiktas tonight," President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a statement.

Mr. Erdogan said the blasts shortly after the end of the match sought to cause maximum loss of life.

"We have witnessed once more here in Istanbul the ugly face of terror which tramples down any form of value and morals," he said.

Mr. Soylu said one blast took place outside the stadium and another at Macka Park, a popular meeting place just above the sports venue.

"I heard two explosions in less than one minute, followed by the sound of gunshots," one witness told AFP on condition of anonymity.

Besiktas football club issued a statement condemning the attack and confirming none of the fans or players were hurt.

"Terrorists... attacked our heroic security forces who ensure that both our fans and Bursaspor's supporters are safe. We will stand firm against the vile attackers who will never achieve their goal."

Strategic location chosen

Police cordoned off the area around the stadium immediately after the blasts, which occurred near the Ottoman-era Dolmabahce Palace that houses Prime Minister Binali Yildirim's offices in Istanbul.

The scene is also about a kilometre from the busy Taksim Square, a magnet for tourists.

Mr. Erdogan was in Istanbul at the time of the blast at his residence in the suburb of Tarabya further down the Bosphorus, state media said.

The government slapped a broadcast ban on footage of the attack, as is becoming typical in the aftermath of major incidents in the country.

In June, 47 people were killed in a triple suicide bombing and gun attack at Istanbul's Ataturk airport, with authorities blaming IS.

Another 57 people, 34 of them children, were killed in August in a suicide attack by an IS-linked bomber at a Kurdish wedding in the southeastern city of Gaziantep.

But there have also been deadly bombings claimed by the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK), seen as a splinter group of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).

U.S. condemns attack

The U.S. embassy in Turkey condemned the latest attack.

"Our hearts and prayers are with the people of #Istanbul tonight," the embassy wrote on Twitter. "We condemn tonight's cowardly attack, and salute the courage of the Turkish people as we stand with them against terror."

Turkey is still reeling from a failed July 15, 2016 coup blamed by the government on the US-based Islamic preacher Fethullah Gulen that has been followed by a relentless purge of his alleged supporters from state institutions.

Saturday's attack came after the Turkish Army and its Syrian rebel allies on Saturday entered the IS bastion of Al-Bab in northern Syria, according to a monitoring group.

Al-Bab is the last bastion IS has in Syria's northern Aleppo province.

The explosions also came hours after Turkey's ruling party submitted a parliamentary bill that would expand the powers — and possibly the tenure — of Mr. Erdogan, a move his opponents fear will lead to one-man rule.

Where I said it declared sharia law. You misunderstood my post

You said that Turkey needs to become Secular again, I asked for the event where the Turkish government enforced Religious rule over their country.

If they did not declare Sharia law, then they continue to be a Secular State. Therefore nullifying your claim.

It still is Secular.

ISTANBUL

The death toll in Saturday's Istanbul terror attack has risen to 38, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said Sunday.

Among the dead, 30 are police officers, seven are civilians, and one has yet to be identified, Soylu said.

He also confirmed a previous statement from the Istanbul Governor's Office that 155 people had been wounded in the attack -- 19 still in critical condition.

At around 10.30 p.m. (1930GMT) on Saturday evening, two explosions rocked Istanbul's European side.

Outside a football stadium in Istanbul's Besiktas district, a car bomb was detonated two hours after the end of a Turkish league football match between Besiktas and Bursaspor.

Seconds later, a suicide bomb attack occurred in Macka Park in the same neighborhood. The suicide bomber blew himself up after police noticed him, according to Soylu.

"A total of 13 suspects have been arrested so far," he said. "Signs point to the involvement of the PKK terrorist group."

Deputy Prime Minister Numan Kurtulmus also said Sunday that the PKK terror group was "most likely" to have been involved in Saturday's deadly terror attack.

The fans of the two teams had left the stadium when the attack occurred, he said, adding only the police officers were around for security reasons.

An explosive weighing around 300 kilograms was used in the bomb attack according to bomb experts, Kurtulmus indicated.

The second attack, which came less than minute later was caused by suicide bomber and occurred in Macka Park in the same neighborhood. He blew himself up after police noticed him, according to Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu .

Kurtulmus called on "the friends of Turkey" to be in solidarity with the country against the latest terrorist attack, which he said was "also aimed at destroying Turkish economy and tourism".

In Washington, the White House condemned the attack "in the strongest terms", and pledged solidarity with Turkey.

"Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims, their families and loved ones, and to all the people of Turkey," National Security Council spokesman Ned Price said in a statement.

"We stand together with Turkey, our NATO Ally, against all terrorists who threaten Turkey, the United States, and global peace and stability."

The president of the European Parliament posted a comment on social media. "My thoughts & solidarity with Turkish citizens, with families of victims of Istanbul attack. I wish speedy and full recovery to the injured,” Martin Schulz said.

A spokesman for Council of Europe secretary general said Ankara would find support from Europe. "Turkey can rely on the solidarity and support of European governments and the Council of Europe after today's Istanbul terrorist attack," Daniel Holtgen said.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg condemned the attack, calling it as "horrific acts of terror." He stressed that NATO stood united in solidarity with its ally Turkey. "We remain determined to fight terrorism in all its forms," he added.

U.K. Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson said the "UK [was] committed to working with Turkey to tackle terrorism," adding that his thoughts were with all those affected.

In a statement, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon expressed his deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims. "He hopes that the perpetrators of this terrorist act will be swiftly identified and brought to justice," the UN website reads.

Don't waste your energy on him. His posts are showing tendency that he might be a qadiyani/ahmedi hence his comments are usually against even Pakistan and Islam.

إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

Every time there is such a terrorist attack in Turkey resulting in loss of life , it pains and saddens as every time the way any such terror attack in Pakistan makes us feel pained.

Our prayers are with Turkey and its people. May Allah give you power to clean your country of these terrorists.

Ameen.

Turkey is no more secular, there is unannounced dictatorship in turkey, i know that you can't even speak against policy of government, they will arrest you, and throw in prison. There are serious violations of human rights under erdogan government. Turkey was never like this before.
Even you will lose job if you question erdogan, thousands in prison, Hundreds of thousands lost job just due to opposite views. What kind of secularism you are talking about. You have no idea what you are talking

Must of the western media and avergae person walking the street agrees with your view.
