Chief Executive Officer of 10 Minute School Ayman Sadiq and Founder of Change Sajid Iqbal have made the Forbes 30 under 30 list for Asia.
Both young men, aged 26 and 27, respectively, have also won the Queen’s Young Leaders award – Sajid in 2017 and Ayman in 2018.
They made the list for their contributions towards solving problems through their business initiatives.
The annual list by Forbes features 30 youngsters from Asia who are leveraging business tools to solve the world’s problems.
Sajid Iqbal is the founder of Change, a youth-led development agency working in the field of green innovation, research on renewable energy, water security, and sustainable business development.
Sajid completed his BSc and MSc in Environmental Science and Management from North South University.
Ayman Sadiq is an entrepreneur and internet personality known for starting the Youtube channel 10-Minute School that publishes video lectures on various topics, including science, business, personal development, and the arts.
In an earlier interview with the Dhaka Tribune, Ayman said: “I believe the future of education is digital. We plan on digitizing education to such an extent that anyone can not only attend any class they want from the comfort of their home, but also say goodbye to having to carry heavy fat books and organise papers and lecture sheets.
“Every topic that a syllabus covers will be extensively laid out in our smart books which students will find it convenient to understand, analyse, and interpret poems, literary texts, essays, and virtually everything currently done using papers and books. Videos will cover all academic courses imaginable while every student can find skill development courses and extracurricular materials at their fingertips. That’s the future.”
Ayman attended Dhaka University’s Institute of Business Administration from 2012 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor in Business Administration.
