I can drive my German car with car plate, passport and everything else issued by German authorities all the ways from Germany to France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Sweden and other in 27 bloc. There is no border at all. No control no nothing.
If I want I can buy a house, seek a job, pay in same currency and do everything else like other locals.
I wish one day my kids can drive a car from Vietnam to China and Burma without being arrested and put into prison.
Yup when refugees start flooding in.... Things change.. Lol

There is no border is not the same as no control. No control indicates that there is already a joint framework that standardized requirements for the papers that make the papers recognizeable beyond the territory of the issuing country, but it does not mean that there is no border at all. The fact that your driving license, your papers are issued by the german authorities instead of EU authorities show that borders do exist between EU member countries, but thanks to the joint EU framework your papers are accepted and recognized right away in other EU member countries.

And i have to say that control does happen in the borders especially if you are riding public transportations although the control is not regularly enforced the way countries with no joint framework do.

I live in Germany and study work here without ever having to show passport.

And btw you dont want to know what germans think about chinese

Never had to show passport? Sorry but I call bullshiet on that one. In order to live and work here, you need to register your address to the local Meldeamt. That requires a passport, otherwise how would they know you are from an EU member state?

So China is also at the mercy of Russia just like Europe.

China has several LNG sources, including Central Asia, SEA and Middle East (seaborne+pipeline), in addition to Russia. Russia is a reliable partner.

I mean no border in real sense. You don’t need to show your passport to the border police. Because there is no police at all.
To other non EU countries you must stop to show your passport but that will take one minute.
Let’s say you are on the autobahn.
