Interesting... Is there any reason why Turkey needs 5th Gen fighters so soon? Maybe it has something to do with Israel and it's F-35s.

• 6 prototype Tf-X will be produced for trials. TAI expects to receive around 400 order until Tf-X pass into serial production (2033).
• TAI negotiates with countries who want to be partner of Tf-X. Those countries will be a costumer of Tf-X as well.

According to some British engineers working on this that I talked to, TFX is going to be more advanced than both F-35 and F-22. I wouldnt take it seriously if it was coming from a Turk, I would brush it off as nationalistic bluff, but if the british are saying this then there must be at least some truth to it.

I didnt go into details to be honest. Because in the defense industry I try not to find out any information that I dont need to know.
But I gathered from the conversations that since TFX is much more modern than either of those two, it will be able to utilise all the latest technological advancements in the past couple of decades thus giving it a significant edge in some aspects. For example heavy use of composites with respect to F-35 and F-22 may be one of them.

Sorry I cant give any definitive details even if I knew any.

5th Gen fighter is nirvana of defence industry.If a country can develop 5th gen fighter they can develop everything. And I'm very happy to see that we are climbing stairs one by one.Yet there isn't any day we don't hear a development about project that plays important rule on TF-X.
