There will not be AESA on Akıncı project, this is a fact, nor any AA missiles beside stinger maybe. But don't put much hope on stinger neither

My prediction is ..they will fly Akinci until they get new turboprop. They may complete flight test with this engine.

and...

there is one more issue.. PD170 is Pushing engine designed for ANKA but Akinci engine placement is different than ANKA. They either changed engine or Akinci will reverse engine placement. ????

PD170 is 170hp. Akinci will have approximately 2x500hp engines according to the specs Baykar has released.

Summary: a more powerful version of PD170 is being developed which will be used on the Akinci.
