Turkish Navy stops Greek Frigate from harassing research ship in Eastern Mediterranean

The seismic and drilling vessel Barbaros Hayrettin Paşa was carrying out research activity, as had been previously announced, on the Turkish continental shelf of the Güzelyurt Research Coast off the Republic of Northern Cyprus







The Greek Frigate began harassing the research vessel in the early hours of Thursday morning, in violation of international law and conventions

The Turkish Navy stopped a Greek Frigate from harassing a Turkish research ship in the Eastern Mediterranean

The Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying Turkey would continue to exercise its sovereign rights and jurisdiction over its continental shelf

I know man,I had to reply here and not start a new thread,because in some recent posts of his in other threads,he accused us of "harassing" their research ship (yes the 2018 event) and treating refugees and immigrants badly. So instead of opening a new thread,I just thought I should post these videos here.

Is this allowed ? Is it not a criminal act ? Turkey under Erdogan in the last five to seven years has become more assertive militarily and its military-industrial complex's exports have gone to its head. These harassments are a manifestation of that.

Yeah, how dare we talk about "humanitarian" Turkey which is helping Syrians by invading Syria and helping tens of thousands of international criminals to cross over into Syria from Turkey while at the same time torturing Syrian refugees at sea ?

i like turks and i have very good friends from cyprus, they were down to earth. He promised me if i ever come to cyprus he take somwere to eat a massive organic cheese sandwhich yummy.

Dictator? Haftar is not the leader of the House of Representatives,he is the leader of the army.

A UN-recognized government ? But why did the UNSC allow 40+ militaries of NATO and GCC plus thousands of private criminals of Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood to invade the Libyan Jamahiriya which was a member nation of the UN in the first place ?

If Turkey wanted to do something good for Libya it should be supporting the Green Resistance which is the label for those Libyans who agitate and fight against the aforementioned criminal alliance and many from the Green Resistance fight alongside Haftar for the moment. Watch this 2019 interview of Moussa Ibrahim who in 2011 was the spokesperson of Gaddafi and the Jamahiriya and is still one of its leaders. IIRC he speaks about his people being with Haftar's forces.
