and superior range

250 km ATMACA
200 km EXOCET Block-III
140 km HARPOON Block-II
120 km C-802
There was going to be a 300km range Harpoon but the U.S. Navy wasn't interested with the introduction of the LRASM. Besides possible boost in range there were improvements in guidance and sensors on the upgraded Harpoon.

And, so will be the PN, especially once ATMACA gets integrated with MILGEM/Jinnah-class platforms! And, that too with the indigenous KTJ3200 jet engines with 250km+ range. Hopefully, the PN will shower its very own "02-27" on the IN...

Cry Hindutva cry...

Pakistan is integrating local Ashms on its ships as shown in 3D renderings of Jinnah class frigate/corvette. Modified version of Babur have range up to 450km allowing for OTHOR attacks. Second reason is Pakistan is now upgrading toward Supersonic and Hypersonic capabilities.

Please refer to 3D rendering of Jinnah Class showing 3x3 configuration not 4x4 meaning local missiles will be integrated.

Harbah is overrated on this boards for obvious reasons

Harbah is much better considering its ability to attack both Naval and land targets. Also it touts a range of 450km allowing its to attack Over the horizon via data link or Active seeker. In all intensive purposes Harbah is not even comparable to ATAMACA considering it is designed keeping PN requirement in mind. Also Harbah can be tipped with a nuke making it an entirely different beast. Harbah is a modular design which can undertake every role you can imagine.

Even if what you say is true Pakistan is no longer looking toward single purpose missiles unless they fall under supersonic category. Also there is a very good chance that we might see a supersonic variant of harbah. Also benefits of having an MTCR free homegrown solution outweighs anything Turkey can provide us even if it is more advanced.

Lols....Both different missiles and best in their own class....ex Harbah is a nuclear missile.

Harbah is a land attack nuclear tipped missile, I have no idea they are testing or developing of anti-ship role.
Similar to how the BGM-109B existed - although it is very possible it may never be used like that or that the variant is shelved if SMASH is found to be adaptable to other platforms.
