Seriously I can't believe that people still insist on such imperialistic dreams.

Not imperialisic. I dont think anyone wants to add the these regions to their "Mighty" empire. Gaining influence and becoming a stabilizing force is the reason for Turkish presence within Iraq. Nobody would support annexation.

Some are actually dreaming about annexi. I saw that Serkan İnci idiot bubbling about how Iraqi Kurdistan is already ours and all left is making it official.

Our only way of influence in Iraq is through KRG. And they only get along because we are their best bet in selling their oil. Pray they don't find another way.

Thats true and i completely understand what you mean. There are many Neo-Ottomanist who support an invasion of Iraq and Syria purelly based on imperialistic views and intentions. And like mentioned before this mindset is sadly far too common among Turks these days. Luckily the political reality prevents such reckless behavior from ever becoming a reality. The status quo is fine as of right now, a limited number of Turkish soldiers that train local Iraqi militants in the face of ISIS and in Syria. The one thing that baffles my mind is who would annex these chaotic regions anyway. Who in gods name would want to inherit all these problems.

They(AKP) are not taken serious, ''enemy'' of Iraqi shia(Iran&Russia) government, ISIS(Sunnis) , and USA at the same time. I do not know how they(AKP) have managed that, but the reality on the ground in Iraq is like this, and considering the condition in Turkey, They(AKP) have nothing to do, but speak louder to feed the voters in Turkey.

Sad for the country due to being governed by who puts their own interests first in front of the interests of the Country.
