Erdogan is probably the worst strategist to rule over a major country at this point in time. His dreams are far too big for Turkeys actual capabilities and reality is hitting hard now.

Turkey has great capability to become country like France and The UK

led by ERDOGAN , Turkish GDP Nominal has risen to $960 billion from $230 billion between 2003 and 2013

but there are many enemies and traitors

Your Countries so lucky not to fight against USA,İsrael,France,Egypt,The Uae,S.Arabia,Greece,Armenia,Russia,İran,ASSAD,HAFTAR,Pkk/Ypg,FETO in İraq ,Syria , Libya and in the Eastern Mediterranean

Your Countries so lucky without traitors like FETO , CHP , TUSIAD , HDP , PKK

since 2013 there is asymmetric-economic war between Turkiye and USA-İsrael-France and their proxies/terrorists

-- 2013 Gezi Park rebellion
-- 2013 FETO's judical coup attemp
-- 2015 PKK's big rebellion in 22 cities
-- 2015-17 ISIS's 14 major terror attacks in Turkey
-- 2016 FETO's military coup attempt
-- 2017-2018 TRUMP's attack on Turkish currency

in 2021 FETO , CHP , TUSIAD are buying USD to fall Turkish Lira
traitors are the biggest enemies to Turkey and Turkish People

Doesn't matter up or down. The important thing is that the volatility have to end. We've seeing a big crash since night till morning hours. The parity used the 12 TL level as support and now there is a recovery up to the 13.50 level. I guess central bank bought back 1B from bottom. Currently, the resistance is around 15 liras. The head of the central bank will make a statement at 14:00 CET. The volume is increasing again. We can see sharp movements again in the afternoon. Someone who is not an expert in this pair can easily lose money right now.

Self center in a most unbelievable way, western camp's number one enemy right now is "so lucky", ok.
Number one enemy? I do not think so. (I don't agree with the first quoted message too, by the way...) The economies of the two countries are in such an intricate relationship with each other that they cannot fight directly. At best, it'll be the toughest opponent in monopoly.

China is US and ofc its lacky's number one enemy right now, there is no doubt about it, we have seen them trying on every front, the trade war alone would have crush 95% of the countries on earth.
If you would like to call it biggest threat or rival, its fine.

MME's mood as "The whole world is trying to prevent Turkey's rise"
=
The mood of 'some' Chinese members here that 'USA wants to destroy China, is sieging us from all sides'...

Exactly that. While the country is having an economic crisis and being diplomatically isolated because of his policies,he still dreams of making it a world power.

Turkey been dreaming of world power since they lost balkans and north africa centuries ago. I guess they need to feel like they are one of the big kids like UNSC members but in reality they are more in the Iran/Egypt/Malaysia/Spain tier of power.

Well right now, they probably are a little but more powerful than Spain and Iran. But if played right, Turkey does indeed have the capability to be a great power like France and UK. It first needs nukes and then keep the economy growing.

Erdogan is 100% right, he needs Turkey to learn to not rely in imports, a great power should be able to withstand all sorts of embargoes and ultimatums. Like Russia or china, they down really need to import anything. Turkey will need to achieve this and maybe this crisis will help them do just that. If it can beat the speculators now, it will be a great leap forward. I mean lets face it, if you cant beat speculators trying to undermine your currency, how will you even become a great power. If you cant protect your currency, how can you protect your nukes? So this is painful, but probably good for turkey.

NO DREAMS but TARGETS to become Global Power again

Turkey has targets becoming global power again even as a country situated in the most turbulent region of the world

Turkey = Great Seljuk Empire and Ottoman Empire

2 -- Turkey has great soft power from Bosnia to East Turkestan ( China )

3 -- Turkish military Bases in TRNC , Albania , İraq , Qatar , Somalia , Libya
also Turkish Forces in Syria and Azerbaijan
and many more in the near future

4 -- Turkiye is industrialized and G-20 Country
Turkey is the biggest production base in the region from İtaly to China

5 -- Turkish Economy 2nd fastests growing economy in OECD
Turkey has 11th biggest GDP PPP in the World after France and The UK

6 -- Turkey has a distinguished strategic importance compared to other countries that it has maintained throughout history due to its distinguished geographical location

Turkey is at the middle of both continents of Europe and Asia, ...

7 -- Turkey has trillion Dollars of Boron , Thorium reserves
also oil/gas reserves in the Black Sea and in the Eastern Mediterranean

8 -- Turkey boasts young population of 15.6%, much higher than in European countries
( 13 million young people age 15-24 )
84 million total population

This picture is basically clear evidence of our potential and comparative and strategic strength

Turkey play more influential, regional and global roles. Inheriting an imperial legacy, experiencing dramatic improvements in its power capabilities, observing a multipolar world order emerge and being situated at a borderline position between the East and the West

You should understand that Turkey is different from İran , Egypt , S.Arabia in the region

Spain , Malaysia , Indonesia , etc
