PT Pindad Indonesia with help from FNSS will unveiled two prototypes for future Indonesian army Medium tank project in 2017, with RnD cost around USD30 million. The weight of this tank expected to be around 25-30 tonnes and to be armed with 105mm main gun, which later could be adjusted to utilising 120mm gun.

PT Pindad has collaborated with FNSS since 2014 to designing a future medium tank to replace existing old light tanks in Indonesian Army inventory.

The hull design seems to be similiar with CV90.
