Turkish gas turbine engines to be the main power source for other Muslim states

  • The turbofan engine being developed for TF-X will have a thrust ratio of 27000+lbf
  • The program have a time scale of 10 years
  • Negotiations are proceeding with RR for cooperation under the leadership of TRMotor.
  • Nozzle of indigenous engine will habe stealth character.
  • Both F110 (prototypes) and indigenous engine have a diameter of 118cm.
The western countries has very little reason to help turkey. I doubt they will contributed much to the development.

If you rely on foreign technology in high level, you have to accept all their terms which will certainly harm the freedom policy of Turkish industry but you know It is not something like leading a blind guy to find its way. Turkey has a vast of experiences collected with working in many multinational engine programs, producing most critical sections and components. Besides, Turkey is actively developing own turboshaft and turboprop engine family. As you know the core section of turboshaft is identical to turbofan and turboprop. In the lights of those achievements, I believe that We will see an effective turbofan engine which will help Turkey to change all calculations.

Just make sure that when projects fail (which happens from time to time)...they are carried over locally. You can't let it fall in the hands of "foreign investors" because it is a common tactic to buyout and shut down to restrict competition.

.
I don’t doubt Turkey can do it

But true benefits of indigenous programmes is to allow you to eventually change your foreign policy to suit your own needs and requirements which maybe worth even more billions and even trillions

If Turkey is self sufficient in core technology’s then I hope they can then detach themselves from foreign influence and start doing what is good for Turkey and it’s own interest

but building hundreds and thousands of them with a tolerance so narrow most fail on scale up with the blades

You're gravely mistaken about the numbers here. Jet engines are built in very small numbers and quantities over an extended period of time. They're not like other commodities that are built in huge numbers and batches.

For example machining and hand crafting is often used in specialized jet engines because the cost enables the use of these tools, whereas on conventional goods these tools would slow down the production heavily and would never be used.

So tolerance levels are generally lower because each engine and engine component produced has the luxury of being checked individually over a longer period of time instead of a quick glance at a conveyor belt.

The problem of low tolerance exists but it's not a huge deal like you think. There are other hurdles to these engines though.

.
Turkey needs to research and develop a materials catalogue before the steps to a jet engine can be climbed. Turkey can do it, but will need full and steady government support for 5(min) years...

Fan: Aluminum, titanium, stainless steel or Composite
Compressor: Nickel-, cobalt-, or iron-based alloys. Additive are aluminum and/or titanium, chromium, as well as rare earth elements like yttrium.
Combustion chamber: Superalloys with refractory metals such as tungsten, molybdenum, niobium, tantalum. Ceramics and ceramic-metal mixes.
Turbine: Nickel-based superalloy, outside air is circulated through channels inside of the turbine blades. For lower pressure turbine blades iron-based superalloy or even stainless steel. The metals used for turbine blades are often grown as a single crystal.
Exhaust nozzle: Nickel Inconel and stainless steel alloys.
Casing: Aluminum or polymer matrix materials.

If core turbine of TS-1400 turboshaft engine which is able to provide a thrust max 1670 shp, is converted into an operational turbofan engine, What could be the thrust ratio to be taken ? Having any idea brother?

Bro, best estimate I could find was based on similar engine that was also converted from Turboshaft to a Turbofan, export variant that is currently powering our T-129, the CTS800.

Garrett F109 was developed utilising CTS800 Turboshaft engine core. Garett F109 had potential of 1,500-2,100lb of max thrust, so I'd presume TS1400 core could also push out similar thrust.

Garett F109 was designed to power T-46 trainer for US Air Force, however it was cancelled.

MoND: "TEI will announce a new strategic engine, first in its class, having a secrecy degree right now. Its initial test have also been performed. It will be revealed in following days !"

I believe The new strategic engine to be revealed will be 550hp turboprop which will power up Akinci UCAV in 2020's. First flight will be done with TEI-PD-220 turbo-diesel engine in this year.

I believe they are paying rr to help them.
But I doubt Saudi or any Arabs will be the users even (highly unlikely) successful, does not mean Saudi is not Muslim country.
