The Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) has just released trade data for 2018.
According to TUIK, the Turkish-Egyptian bilateral trade amounts to over 5.2 billion USD.
Business between the two countries is blossoming. On top of that, this trade is one of the "healthiest" trade relationships in in the entire region. Both nations are exchanging actual goods and services. This is not a money-for-energy exchange which is typical for the Middle East. This trade is a text-book example of how two trading nations are getting wealthier by creating jobs, nurturing industrial growth and building a long-term supply chain. Nice going.
