Especially with Turkey being introduced into one with Russia, insert Nabucco Gas Pipeline.

Seemingly conciliatory comments from President Vladimir Putin on the Ukraine crisis have soothed markets this week. But fears remain that the West - which has so far targeted only a small number of Russian individuals and firms - will impose harsher sanctions, including on the financial sector.

Some big companies must focus on this technology, we already producing engines for ships, cars, busses, trucks etc. we need for APC's and MBT. If govenment ensure cooperation between defence companies a company can select for develope these engine family and other Turkish companies use these engines.

As far as i know we are only producing engine parts for the engines. We are only producing Tractor engines...

Nope engines are being produced, but under license or as part as production for external companies.. Like MTU Turkey.

I don't know mate. I'm sure it's like assembly of foreign parts. Like Sweden building GE-F404.... %60 of engines parts are important from US. I won't call this Sweden producing jet engine.

We have lots of companies which can produce engines in different sectors, for example HBO Motor, BMC, Gamak etc. I heard about these engines in advance but i can't remember all engines manufacturer as properly.

also i know that, usually Turkish company prefer to use foreign engines for their platforms, this way our engine sector develope slowly...
