Turkish Artillery Projects

Turkish Artillery Rockets/Missiles precisiously destroyed dynamic targets in Syria. It is as far as I know first active operational usage of artillery on moving targets to show the strength of them!

So that rocket that is stuck in the concrete didn't explode? Was there a technical problem?

How do you know that it’s guided or not? The canards present in rocket that in picture are at the rear. Both guided and unguided ones have rear canards but only guided ones have also in front.

In theory you could update the GPS coordinates via encrypted radio messages but in practice I don't think there's such a system in place. You would need an artillery observer with the necessary radio equipment. And updating the GPS coordinates as the target moves would be a pain in the arse.

much easier to make it laser guided.

Maybe we should consider that targets were stationary at the time of attack.

either that or there's a system for updating the GPS coordinates in a 122mm rocket in TB2 which I strongly doubt lol :D

or maybe the convoy was moving at a constant rate and the artillery just calculated where they would be by the time the rockets landed. Which would be impressive.
