I used THY couple of times. The food was the best I had from an airlines at 30 000 feet. If you really want good food, you shouldn't be a cheap azz and pay business class.

It is recommended to not use longrange airplanes for short flights because they simply aren´t build for that. Their material is under much more stress from the constant landing and starting again. It already caused one crash in asia few years back and is a issue.

Turkish Airlines beats any American airline hands down. Haven't really traveled on any European airlines (just a connecting flight from Dallas via British Airways).

Also, Middle-Eastern Air Lines are the best in the world.

Emirates, Qatar, and even Saudi Airlines will bury their competition anywhere.

Turkish Airlines is the best European airline. No question.

With completion of new airport in Turkey, I presume that the "main" hub of Europe will be shift from London to Istanbul (and rightly so. There is no other European capital that can match Istanbul's grandeur).

I had my bag and another additional bag where i carry my tech gadgets like ipad and so on. While boarding the women there insisted that i can carry only one...so i put my smaller bag into the bigger bag and suddenly evrything was fine.

Ya I boarded a plane from Italy to Germany man EVERYONE ....EVERYONE had more than 2 handbags/ shopping bags/ stuff!
