Turkish Advanced Trainer/Light Attack Aircraft Unveiled 'HÜRJET' (FreedomJet)

Closest aircraft Hurjet comes to externally is Boeing/Saab TX. Freedom jet which Turkish engineers participated has no similarities at all, which is surprising.

Bro, Hürjet (with 3000kg payload) will most probably have capability of launching SOM-J anti-ship cruise missiles. She will also carry AselPod for surveillance missions. (1.2Mach)High speed factor enables it to perform surprize strike and escape maneouvrings in Aegean environment. Engaging with enemy aircrafts when It is vital during operations, will also be possible thanks to superior domestic AESA radar and its tracking performance. Hürjet with MEHPOD will perform jamming operations against enemy radars/aircrafts. Hürjet (Around 70) in the hands of Turkish engineers/pilots will be very dangerous aircrafts next to TF-X and F-35 fighters.

Boeing T-X has 1 mach speed, which is 800MPH. I believe Turkey will use stronger engine, which is Ej-2000 or F414 to get 1.2 Mach speed.

Bro, The size of T-50 and Hürjet is almost same but T-50 powered with F404 has a payload of 3,8 tons (Hürjet-3tons) and 1,5 Mach (Hürjet - 1,2 Mach) speed. Many different factors should be considered but If that is about thrust to weight, That means Hürjet will use less powerfull engine than F404GE102.

Bro, Korea made these numbers for T-50, but when they switched to FA-50, they also wanted to upgrade the engine to EJ-2000 or f-414 as radars, missiles, missile warnings, all together made the jet heavy..

What you guys think of Honeywell F125 Engine ?

Actually its a very good idea. F125x has the best Thrust to weight ratio with Turbofan engines and 56Kn power which is way enough.. Also brings that little more advantage over Boeing t-x as the engine little more powerful that f404 engine ;)
But, to be honest, i dont Think Turkey will use it as it is not tested in any aircraft with this version even though there is afterburner added to f124 and some changes...

I love the nose section of it...

It is really my favorite aircraft, as i cannot wait until 2030 to see TFX.. If Turkey Produce its own Turbofan engine with 40-50KN Thrust, or get approval for sales, There are really many countries who would love to purchase it, with AESA radar, air to air missiles, Aselpod, EW suite, Cockpit and so on..
Turkish MIUS will also use this engine as all other unmanned jets use engine at this class..

Actually, it will also be in the same class with JF-17 as JF-17 also use 50kn engine RD33.. But Turkish one has 35% more wing span which means planned to be more maneuverable.
But, im not sure how they estimated that it has 3.6 ton load capacity and 1.6 mach speed.
May be some Pakistanis put some light on it.. I think may be these are the numbers for training version of it as Korea did for T-50.. ?
